Why arent they calling PA?
Kerry has a greater lead there than Bush. More precincts have reported (granted 4% to 3%), and it is worth less points. Why not call it?

2. It was reported that Allegheny County's polls were staying open later
Networds have SAID they won't be calling states until all the polls close.

3. They're being ultra-cautious
it can't hurt ot wait and be right. That's the point of all this and selling advertising. If everyone goes to bed, they lose.

4. Guessing...
...
1) Nobody wants to screw up
2) They don't want to announce the big states so they don't influence the west.

Just guessing.

Allegheny County (Pittsburgh) is keeping their Oakland polling open until 9:30 PM. Oakland is University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University

7. i know
theyve already called arkansas for * even though only 8000 votes have been counted but they wont give Kerry PA and there have been well over 100,000 votes counted. Ladies and Gentlemen tonight we will witness one of two things: a large Kerry win or a fixed election for *.
