CRAP rEPRESENTATIVE SAYS NOT CALLING FOR NEW ELECTION
Says future elections will be improved by improving "miscues". Keith is giving the Dems a forumn and the Dems are not taking it, only saying it will lead to congressional hearings.

1. John Conyers is saying "well Senator Kerry conceded"
keith is saying if there is genuine tampering what do we do:

Conyers if deliberate and intended then against federal laws and there will be indictments but what we want are improvements because we have technology without a paper trail and we need to do better than tha.

4. They have to get evidence first THEN
they can get indictments. Give them time.

10. Exactly right
Conyers and the others can't start shouting "Fraud" or "We demand a new election!" until they have concrete proof, not questions and obviously irregular data, proof. If not, Rove and Faux News will label them all 'Sore Losermen" and run this story into the ground.

Once we take the strident path, we can't go back. We have to take this slowly and carefully. We've got a month until the Electoral College. Look what we've accomplished in only six days! We can do this!

18. I don't know, though
Conyers accomplished some very important tasks. He got the initial word out to the public via his interview and is proceeding with the request to the GAO. He's even gotten more Congressmen to sign-on with him. If he'd gotten more aggressive tonight, Rove and Faux News (I think of them as a tandem unit, can't think why ;) ) would go into full battle-cry and bury OUR story with THEIR allegations. We've got some time. We need to think ahead.

Right now, Conyers is presenting the facts and acting 'concerned'. Concerned, not paranoid. WE know what's going on, but the public does not. That interview was basically their first exposure to this issue through the media. If we come right out of the box too aggressive, paranoid is what they may well consider us. There is very little chance that would ever turn into a positive for us should that happen. So, concerned, it is! THEN we begin to ramp it up.

3. aw come on
John Conyers is about the most sly fox in the House of Representatives. You need to watch him for a bit before you start taking shots at him.

Very few Americans have worked harder to preserve our democracy than John Conyers.

Think strategically, son.

19. Conyers is an important cog in my Ultimate Conspiracy Theory
The dems sent him out for this because he is soft-spoken, sounds intelligent and reasonable. Keep it under the radar screen as long as possible - then ATTACK!!

6. President Jeb; President Neilsie;
President Marvin

if this doesn't get straightened out.

The Dem politicians can at least stand up for fair elections.

7. Write or e-mail him
and express your concerns. He isn't a mind reader. Don't spit on the hand that reaches out to help. Give him your thanks, and offer your encouragement.

9. There is no provision in the Constitution for a do-over Pres. election
So no one can call for a new election.

12. There is no "provision" for fraud and cheating and criminal behavior
either!

There was also no "provision" for 2 political parties monopolizing the whole game.

Breaking new ground.

20. No but if we can prove the republicans schemed and implemented
a wide ranging plan to discount, disenfranchise, and manipulate voters and vote counts - we can get a 10 million man march to jump the fence at the WH and pull the chimp out by the ears, crying for daddy all the way to the DC jail.

I'll be there and my brother is commited too. If the election is proven to be a sham (we already know it was) then all bets are off - it's time for the 2nd American revolution.

17. Conyers knows damn well the concession is not legally binding
Why should he make a point of educating people about it?

One step at a time, follow the yellow brick road.
