Fill out the online petition to support Dodd / Conyers

let's use DU to promote legitimate voting reform efforts!

Election Reform Petition

This petition seeks widespread support for the Conyers/Dodd omnibus election reform legislation. Please forward this link to your friends, family, and colleagues so that they may learn of my efforts and complete my on-line petition as well. Thank you.

I want to see if it addresses the concerns many have with Dodd's bill, or if it identical.

On edit: Seems to be identical. The time frame has not changed which means NO PAPER REQUIRED UNTIL 2009! Keep that in mind if you are considering supporting this bill, people.

Many experts in the field are saying the Dodd bill is horrible!!!!!

I'm told it would actually PREVENT any legislation requiring a paper ballot!!!!

Conyers is well intentioned but this is not the bill to support!!!

Rather, we need to communicate to Conyers that the Dodd bill is bad!!!

There are many threads on this. Here's a web paged discussing the two bills and why Dodd is bad
