So when will Kerry unconcede?
Or will it be up to Bev Harris and the people to straighten this mess out?

1. Here's my dream
The voter fraud stuff starts to come out. Kerry appears and says that he was willing to concede to a loss in a fair race but this was no fair race. He will say that he is coming back to fight for those whose votes were stolen and he will not give up until the votes have been counted manually then, and only then, he will concede.

I can dream. Sigh.

16. Jeez Louise - the election was just 6 days ago, and this story is just
coming together. . .you are A LOT premature with your labels.

17. He got that label from me
on November 3rd. I will rescind it if I have reason to rescind it. I am capable of changing my mind. I was pissed at Al Gore for quite a while but at least he waited a few days before giving up. I would say Kerry made land speed records for quickest roll over and give up.

4. I share in your dream
"If I was beat, I concede".

"If I received more votes, I don't concede"

9. Exactly! That's what I was trying to say
My "sigh" was because I'm just not sure if we can get the STUPID FREAKING press to report on the fraud so that Kerry has the opportunity to come back out in a way that he doesn't look bad.

I still back Kerry 100%.

5. On Olbermann, rep. Conyers said....
Edited on Mon Nov-08-04 08:47 PM by webster_green
His efforts were to fix the system, not to overturn the election...(since Kerry had already conceded). I was under the impression that the concession was not legally binding.

Whats the deal?

7. He has to say that right now
We can't jump out claiming the vote was stolen from Kerry. Not until we have evidence. It must be a 'neutral' investigation into irregularities. Otherwise, Faux News and Rove's thugs will paint us all as 'Sore Losers'.

10. If I were Conyers, I'd say the same thing
"Oh, pay no attention to us. We're not trying to overturn the election. We're just looking around a little bit - look, money!"

LOL!

18. I wrote to Kerry via his Senate Office online
I hope that more of you will write directly to Kerry and tell him your thoughts on the voting irreg. thing-y happening, Bev Harris, and such and so forth. MSNBC with Keith happened, and such and so forth

19. CONTACT THESE MEDIA EXECS--HERE'S HOW TO RAISE HELL!
The big media companies blacking out this story are all publicly held companies traded on the New York Stock Exchange. We should contact the CEO and CFO (chief financial officer) of each parent company and say that we are urging Democrats to sell their stock (including any invested through money markets) and boycott the companies' products unless they will air this story and pursue an aggressive investigation into voting fraud.

Note that ABC is owned by Disney, which of course owns Disney theme parks, Disney movies, Disney videos, toys, etc. Just before Christmas shopping season this could really hurt Disney. NBC is owned 80% by General Electric and 20% by Vivendi. You should know that GE is profiting directly from Pentagon contracts. CNN is owned by Time Warner (which owns Warner Brothers movie studios, so boycott their films). CBS is owned by Viacom; Viacom's top executive endorsed Bush.

For NBC (NBC and Vivendi) we should thank them for Keith Olbermann's coverage on Countdown, but urge them to cover this on their nightly news as well. I would suggest telling NBC that Democrats are organizing a boycott and stock sell-off for the other networks, but we are taking a wait-and-see approach with NBC since MSNBC has been the first to break this story.

I didn't bother with Fox, since I assume they're beyond redemption.

Here is the contact info on each company:

Disney (DIS) owns ABC
Michael Eisner, CEO
George Mitchell, Chairman
Thomas Staggs, CFO
phone: 818-560-1000
fax: 818-560-1930

Viacom (VIA) owns CBS
Summer Redstone, CEO
Richard Bressler, CFO
phone: 212-258-6000
fax: 212-258-6464

Time Warner (TWX) owns CNN
Richard (Dick) Parsons, CEO
Wayne Pace, CFO
phone: (212)484-8000
fax: (212)489-6183

General Electric (GE) owns 80% of NBC
Jeff Immelt, CEO
Keith Sherin, CFO
phone: (203)373-2211
fax: (203)373-3131

Vivendi (owns 20% of NBC)
Jean-Rene Fourtou, CEO
Jacques Espinosa, CFO
phone: (212)572-7000
fax: (212)753-9301
