Trying to do some research and can't find the 2000 results from Hamilton County, OH. I only found an official Excel doc that doesn't total the precincts -- it's only a long list of each and their results.

2. Got it

Hamilton county had a HUGE percentage of new voter registrations for Democrats this year, much more than for Republicans. Yet Chimp got 215,639 votes to Kerry's 190,956. So I'm wondering what it looked like four years ago.

On edit: It was Chimp 204,175 and Gore 161,578. Hmmm....

Edited once more to add the link: http://www.sos.state.oh.us/sos//results/index.html

3. Um,
Ohioans don't register a party affiliation when they sign up to vote. So I wonder where the info came from that "Hamilton county had a HUGE percentage of new voter registrations for Democrats this year, much more than for Republicans." ?

Although I don't live in Hamilton County, I drive through it almost every day as I live in adjacent Clermont County. The ONLY part of Hamilton County I could find that had more Bush than Kerry yard signs was Indian Hill, the wealthiest neighborhood of Cincinnati, which is big in area but not big in population.

In any event, I sincerely believe that Kerry won Hamilton County. However, it's inaccurate to point to party registration numbers to try to prove it.

4. "new voter registrations for Democrats"
The Democrats registered more new voters than Republicans, and as I understood it they were likely Democratic voters.

Can't find the article now -- computer crashed several times while trying to open PDFs from Hamilton.

5. That works for me! As DU compiles all this evidence
about vote fraud, I just want to make sure nothing gets thrown out on a technicality.;)
