6. You know it!
"I am very grateful that I got to be the Supreme Allied Commander in Europe in NATO and I was given the most wonderful gift that any person can be given. It's not the publicity, it's not becoming a celebrity, it's not becoming a hero. It's the chance to stand up and fight for what you believe in. If anybody ever gives you that gift, take it. It's the most precious gift in the whole world."

-- Wesley Clark July 2, 2001

7. NOT.
Just what this country needs - another military idiot in the white house.

Wes Clark failed in his bid. He doesn't get another try. Retreads always lose, see Erskine Bowles. Another Clinton retread that keeps costing us a Senate seat.

10. interesting
A friend and I were just talking the other day... no to Hillary, too controversial, too much baggage. No to Kerry, he had his chance... Edwards, not quite there yet. We both hit upon it at the same time, CLARK. He wasn't ready for prime time in '04, but by '08 he's gonna be the man.

Clark in '08.

11. how'd you know?
I spent a happy hour 'remodeling' a Clark 2004 lawn sign yesterday, changing the '2004' to '2008' and plan to hang it outside today once the paints have dried.

Clark learned so much in his brief time as a candidate. I watched him improve almost every day he was in the race. His work for the Dems around the country in the general election was done with enthusiasm and intellegence. His speech at the convention "America, listen to this old soldier" was strong and personable.

And he's one of the smartest and most competent men we've had run in the primaries in a long long time.

There's a lot I like about Clark, and I'm continuing my support of WesPAC for the next several years. So you can put me down as a "Yes! Run Wes, Run!"
