21. If this election actually flip flops, that should be the first
sentence of his Inaugural speech. After of course he gets done thanking the Chief Justice, the Speaker, the members of the House and Senate, the rest of the Supremes, his driver, tailor, the caterer and all those others gathered together that day. ;) (ok he can be a bit...ponderous.)

8. I am disappointed that John Edwards had the gumption
to say, "we won't concede until every vote is counted." Why mention something that RADICAL if you have no intention of following through? Disappointing.

10. Kerry evidently made the decision to concede Wednesday morning..
When Edwards introduced Kerry it didn't look to me that Edwards was ready to concede but it likely wasn't his call.

12. Yes that is the statement that has me on a fence
I will keep up the volume so that our people can fight for every vote -- I am donating to BBV and I will track the breaking stories of vote fraud -- and email and do what I can.

But the GOP will be fighting the simple task of voting every ballot.

So far I feel the only one who is out fighting is Bev and perhaps ironically Nader (and damn it I might have to eat a crow sandwich if he does make a difference in getting the votes counted).

I TRUSTED Kerry and Edwards and I don't trust politicians easily.

I keep hoping that I will have to take back anything less than complementary I've said about Kerry&Edwards.

I really, really, really believed it.

I, too, hope very much to eat my words re disappointment. I don't feel like this is over, and that gives me hope.

32. That broke my heart, as well
I heard that speech, live, and took heart from it. I realize that he's not the one calling the shots, but he must have run that speech by Kerry, before he made it. That's the one thing that causes me to believe that something's up with the Democrats.:shrug:

I heard him comment, based on the vote count with which he was confronted at the time, that there weren't enough votes left to win Ohio.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not hoping against hope. But what is the deal with the legal fund for recounts that Senator Kerry is soliciting donations for? (Damn, ending a sentence with a preposition is something up with which I usually will not put!)

23. Conceding means nothing if he has the votes
It's up to the vote count submitted by the Secretaries of State. Not a single state has been certified - New Mexico isn't even finished counting.

Listen to what they say, then how they try to spin it. John Kerry has been on-message, and I totally understand his positions. As far as Bush* is concerned, he totally lost me when he invaded Iraq as a reprisal for 9/11, which was orchestrated by Osama bin Laden, who was U.S. ally, during the Soviet assault on Afghanistan, just as Saddam Hussein was a U.S. ally during his war with Iran.:crazy:
