that was like, one thousand posts spread out over a week, and they couldn't figure out we were buying a tie? Wow, some people just never run out of clueless.

And speaking of clueless, I am so :mad: at my cable provider. Last night was the first time in weeks I would have been able to join you guys real-time and the connection was munged. :cry:

My husband got a kick out of finally seeing the Tie, as he'd just come in the door from a business trip the first time KO wore it and missed the whole thing.

180. My rep has a weird district
a chunk of Dallas and seven counties in East Texas. I had to drive 20 minutes outside of town. 80% of the people there were from the small town. And they were NOT really happy with the pre-canned pablum that the rep spouted out.

Get this, he actually tried to correct them from saying "privitized" and told them they should say "personal accounts." HA! they weren't having any of it. :evilgrin:

I taped "Countdown," so I can see it again anyway -- but this is upsetting my nightly routine.

And Dan Abrams is justified in fearing an SNL send-up of what he's doing as I write this: stopping his guests in MID-SENTENCE every time a van door opens or he chances to see some small movement on the screen.

Like so much of what we see the media participating in (and KO references w/ his big sign reading "STORIES MY PRODUCERS MAKE ME COVER"), Marthawatch would be funny if it weren't so maddeningly wasteful of resources, No.1 -- and No.2, OUR TIME!!!!!

I turned on MSNBC tonight to watch the rerun of Countdown and all I see is Martha, Martha, Martha. I'm happy she's getting out of jail, but this coverage is ridiculous.
There are way more important things going on in the world.
I'm pissed that I didn't get to see Countdown tonight. Countdown is the only God damn show on your network that actually reports newsworthy stuff. And it's the only show I can watch on your network that doesn't make me completely angry.
The Martha coverage was making sick to my stomach. I had to change the channel.
ENOUGH WITH THE CELEBRITY TRIALS!!!

I have friend who works at NBC (today show), I want to see if I can get in touch with a decision maker at the network or at least get a name to write to. It's not about Martha, it's about the problem with the media. They all know they have problem, but they're still continuing to the same things over and over again (paparazzi journalism). Why aren't they doing anything about it?

BTW I haven't been around. has the group started? where is it?

is that in the morning all the news shows will show and re-show ad nauseum Martha leaving the prison...Martha getting in a car or van...Martha getting on a plane...etc. You get the point.

The MSM has basically degenerated into a stalking paparazzi. It's disgusting!!

Re the kilt -- the other prob. would be that they'd have to show the stand-ups in PANAVISION.

Now, about the mug: That picture is a nice one, but I would hope the photo could be corrected so that eyeglass rim that's horizontally bisecting his left eye could be eliminated.
It makes the eye look half-closed.

On the plus side, his lips look super-kissable in that pic. :loveya:
