people whose votes were switched on electronic machines
Does anyone know someone personally who voted on an electronic machine and they tried to vote for one candidate but their vote came out for someone else? Please let me know if you know someone who this happened to. I know someone who may want to interview them.

Lara :)

1. Anyone know of documented Bush votes jumping to Kerry?
I've heard there were some, but I haven't seen 'em.

3. It happened in a county in New Mexico, where there was also switching to B
New Mexico had switching to Bush in several counties
and switching to Kerry in one county. There are some partisans other than Republicans.
It also appears that there may have been some type of vote fraud by Dems in a New York legislative or Congress race.

4. This actually happened to me in Texas...
it was in 2002 not 2004. I reported to the authorities at the time and, of course, nothing came of it. It was the Ron Kirk v. Cornyn race. It was my first time to vote electronically. I noticed that my vote for Kirk was changed to Cornyn and I corrected it. Then, when I cast my vote I saw it change from Kirk to Cornyn AGAIN! I spoke to the poll workers...that was completely ineffective. They told me to report it but didn't have phone number. I looked it up. I made seven or eight calls before I got the right person who told me "they were aware of the problem" and that "I wasn't the only one to report this." I still have my notes from that call.

I am always willing to share my experience with anyone who is interested. You can PM me if you need to contact me.

By the way, Kirk lost to Cornyn...surprise, surprise (sarcasm ON!)

8. PM is "private message"
It's one of the icons on the top left of each post.

Hang your cursor above the icons and you'll come across it (it's the 2nd from the left).

6. me! me! me!
I reported it afterward but I waited for 2 hours to wait in Baltimore City, MD, and I will gladly sign an affadavit, whatever, I am still mad! Plus my precinct only has 944 votes counted for all day and all my neighbors say the place was jam packed all day, my sister worked in a republican suburb, she had 2100 at her precinct, I only had 944 at mine, it makes me want to weep! (I estimated that there were at least 400 people just while I was there.)

going to Kerry too. He claims that because the reporting numbers were more widely publicized in the progressive/Dem community, the Bush votes switching to Kerry were under-reported. The interview can be found here:
