Did I just hear what I think I heard?
On Democracy Now this morning (3/4), I heard a bit of Bush speaking at the swearing in of the new Homeland "Security" Tsar. Bush said we're on a constant search for Bin Laden, keeping the pressure on, "KEEPING HIM IN HIDING."

I've suspected this all along. I know we're supposed to understand what he said as "scaring him into hiding," but I'm wondering if this might be another one of those times when Bush's word use was a little too honest.

1. Yeah, I heard that quote
He talks about how we're on the search and can't find him, and in the same sentence, about how we're keeping him in hiding. Well then let him come out of hiding just a little so you can find him, please!

2. They're not really chasing him
Actually, I realized the other day that Bush wants perpetual war. This allows him to ram through whatever he wants. If OBL was found, people would get the impression the war was over -- something that Bush wants to avoid at all costs.

6. oooops. Everytime he goes off script he blurts out something he
should not have said.
Most of the sheeple just shake their heads and pretend he didn't say it....the truth would hurt too much.
Not too long ago * said he doesn't give bin Laden much thought. But now that there are other things to upset the 'Murikans'... gotta bring up his name again.
