1. I agree wholeheartedly . . . people are idiots . . .
this president has the worst record on just about every issue imaginable, and he should be pulling no more than 40%, if that . . . these people are brainwashed, which is of course the forte of the fascist state . . . the returns I'm seeing so far disgust me, and I'm just praying that all those "too close to call" states will be breaking our way soon . . . but the euphoria I was feeling earlier today is shot all to hell . . .

25. Are you crazy?
We have absolutely nothing in common with them except we happened to be born in the same country. Although sometimes I wonder - I said in another post tonight THIS IS NOT the country I was born and raised in. Crazy sanctimonious fundamentalist assholes are taking over. I think I was abducted by a flying saucer and put in some parallel universe.

28. We have nothing in common with the "conservatives" in this country
We have nothing in common with people who believe that sex education should be banned from schools, while Bible stories about cosmology should be substituted for biology and geology class.

We have nothing in common with people who believe that it is their personal moral imperative to regulate, control, observe and restrict what consenting adults (who are, by the way, total strangers), do with their genitalia in the privacy of their own homes, but who spew swill on how they don't believe in government "invading our lives".

We have nothing in common with people who are happy to condemn an entire 10% of Americans (give or take) to Constitutionally mandated second-class status because of the immutable inborn fact that they are born gay or lesbian.

We have nothing in common with people who believe that the most driving imperative of government is to cut taxes in the middle of an open-ended multi-front war.

We have nothing in common with people who (honestly or for cynical political purposes) believe that flag-burning, school prayer, public displays of the Ten Commandments, abortion, contraception and condoms are urgent issues of burning moral importance, but who also believe that poverty, failed education systems, falling real wages, spiraling health care costs, environmental degradation, and 45 million Americans without any form of health coverage are trivialities best left to privatization and the magic of the marketplace.

We have nothing in common with people who lie us into war, and who will lie us into more wars.

We have nothing in common with people who hoot and screech at every turn that to disagree with political leaders constitutes treason, but who proudly thump their chests while declaiming that it's our freedoms that make us great.

There's nothing to talk about.

4. I agree
It's embarassing for the country that voters haven't already given Kerry the largest electoral college/popular vote in history.

20. They only voted for him once
and even then he only got a plurality.

Germans in 1932 were smarter than Americans in 2000/2004

13. Nothing can make them change their minds
As long as they have their guns and a gay marriage
ban, they will let Chimp do whatever he wants. They could care less
that he has emptied the US treasury and murdered 100,000
women and children, etc etc etc. This means that Americans are as immoral as Chimp.

If they properly reported on Bush's many misdeeds this would be the landslide that it should be.

14. and on tv they keep making it look like
* is ahead because of the electoral score--
But the states that will go Kerry they won't acknowlege
---yet at least---
--like Ohio etc...
if Kerry were getting the brownie points on the screen from those states he'd appear ahead at the moment.

The corporate media can't stand the idea that they won't get their tax cuts-

the tribe has spoken,
* it's time for you to go
