"Moral values" voters in Ohio choose Bush 83-17??
At least according to Tubby Russert. Amazing. Simply amazing. People who claim to care about moral values support a drunk-driving, coke-sniffing deserter who ran from duty when his country called. A fraud who killed over 1100 American soldiers and tens of thousands of innocent civilians overseas after making up a stack of lies about nonexistent WMDs and ties to Al-Qaeda in Iraq. A scumbag who has helped big business ensure it can continue to pollute our country and cause the deaths of thousands more (mercury poisoning, respiratory diseases etc.) A liar who insisted his tax cuts for the rich wouldn't produce a deficit and then whined that the resulting deficit wasn't his fault.

Part of the reason I've followed politics so long is to do whatever I can to make sure that idiots like this have absolutely no say over me or my loved ones, in any way shape or form.

3. That's what nauseates me about these people
There are sooooooo many more important issues in this life other than the garbage they are obsessed with. People like this waste their existences worrying and whining about what other people do in their private lives even if it has absolutely nothing to do with them. I really have to wonder at these homophobes who spend so much of their time thinking incessantly about what two people of the same sex are doing.

This country would be a better place if people A) minded their own fucking business and B) kept their mouths shut. We'd have elections based on genuine issues of concern instead of trumped-up nonsense of zero concern to anyone with a working brain.

4. a really depressing insight on the true nature
of the average American. I long for the day when we can have an honest, objective national debate on religion. Not holding my breath for this one.
