I've actually been getting all of my news from international sources for a long time. I have CCTV9 on my cable; it's Chinese television. I swear I get more information from there than I do from the networks and CNN combined.

I caught up on last night's thread at work today and read about your interview at the architectural firm. I worked for architects for years and it can be a lot of fun and interesting. I have my degree in interior design, so it was up my alley, but I worked as an exec assistant and then helped one of my friends set up his own firm and worked for him on the side for years after we both left the other firm. Unfortunately, after 13 years of being best friends he decided 3 years ago that he just didn't want to be friends anymore. I really miss him terribly, still. Every woman needs a gay best friend and I lost mine.

Sorry I'm so off subject, but I checked out the Web site and it looks like they do really good work and a wide variety of it. If they offer the job, take it. I don't think you'll be sorry. (Especially with the benefits.) Looks like a good firm.
