1. OK BB.. I go for the machine option but as you would say the
'Election Management System' was so easy to manipulate...
Also it may be helpful to post some background threads so that any newbies around can follow your line of thought..

2. many threads in this
I think that they used several methods, having paper ballots pre-punched for GWB, having the machine program to default to GWB (what I saw) but I think the main one was vote switching. Here's why I think that, the final results in my state agreed with the exit poll
which was impossible because there were many, many problems with lost votes, defective memory cards, etc. So how did the final tally and the exit polls agree so neatly, I think there was vote switching and it was done on the centralized tabulators, that's how.

3. That wouldn't agree with the exit polls.

You're in MD, right Miss W?

If the tabulators were hacked, a la Bev Harris' demo, the exit polls would still disagree if they were accurate to begin with.

Your post shows why it's dangerous to rely too heavily on the exit polls to point the way to the fraud.

Also, with that particular hack, all one would have to do is check the precinct totals against the central totals and voila!, the fraud is uncovered. While that hack made good TV, it's a bit crude, IMO.

That said, remember this:
They're not just tabulators, they're Election Management Systems.

4. dear Bill Bored
the problem here is so bad that there are no numbers posted from the
poll books, so there's is no actual head count to compare the vote to, all I know is that instead of an estimated 2100 votes for my precinct, there are only 944 shown and yet all the numbers agree with
the exit poll ratios, I am saying that I believed that both were fixed ahead of time. I don't know if that makes sense but there were many things bogus in Maryland, like the 1,089 blank votes for prez in Baltimore County and the 7,448 people that voted at the top of the ticket but not all the way down (again in Baltimore County).

5. Yes. A number of things could have been "arranged" before the election. nt
