The voters never voted (they weren't real), and this was just poor people going down a wrong road. It reminds me of the cases of 3-strikes prosecution of non-violent thieves, putting them away for decades of punishment in our horror-based prison system, for stealing bread or baby food, on old convictions for check kiting or drug possession--while Halliburton steals billions and billions of taxpayers' dollars with perfect impunity, and, indeed, while the Bush Cartel slaughters over 100,000 people to get control of their oil.
The proportion of things is just...so....mindboggglingly wrong...
100 or so fake registrations, of non-existent people who will never vote, done for small change--meanwhile, in Ohio, numerous reports of touchscreens changing Kerry votes to Bush votes all day long, and defaulting to Bush, and deleting Kerry votes in a party vote--all with impossible odds of these "glitches" only favoring Bush--and with voting machines counting backwards, deleting thousands of votes, and inventing thousands of phantom votes for Bush (also in Florida), and inexplicable skews to Bush in the exit polls in just the states he needed to win, and....well, it goes on and on.
Proportion. Perspective. Balance, in how power is distributed, and who checks up on those who have it.
I wonder just how much money it cost to put those poverty-stricken, drug-addled voter registration workers behind bars, and to keep them there, for their great crime.
