Bill Maher show tonight -- he actually brought up the 'most if not all
of the problems favored Bush" -- and let Gore Vidal speak, as well as Al Franken without interruption. Ohio mentioned mainly (because of Vidals new book) -- They ALL said the things that should have been said MONTHS ago -- but at least they said them.

Al still backed off a bit when Maher asked if it were a democratic election (paraphrase), but Al did say that Rove and his people play, Dirty, Dirty.

Al mentioned if the people who won, are so certain that they won then why are they so against paper trails.

2. Al's quote is the key. It is the behavior. "What are they hiding?" nt

5. Is Al coming around?
I haven't listened to Al since November 3rd when he refused to talk about the possibility that the election was stolen. Has he had a change of heart?

I always thought he was objective and intelligent and wondered why he refused to look at this issue objectively. If he's changed his tune, please let me know. Maybe I'll start listening again.

6. ditto: Al's been in denial from day one about the stolen election
Influenced more by his flirting with running for the MN Senate seat then by the facts of the election.

"academia" about the possibility of tabulation fraud and they told him no.

14. Based on what investigation??? Don't care who's in academia
I care what kind of investigation they've done, or haven't done. Even if they've spent many hours, what have they been studying, and not studying?

16. Absolutely, the question couldn't be answered with one phone call
the day after the election.

That is really disappointing. I thought he was more of a thorough researcher than that.

17. We should send him a snail mail suggesting these people as guests
though he probably won't do it. He DID seem surprised when Vidal said that the 3rd party candidates got more votes than Kerry in some areas -- didn't he read ANY of the ohio recount or other things about Ohio?

9. he still seemed reluctant to call it anything more than "dirty" -- Vidal
mentioned Blackwell (and the fact that he was the Co-Chair on th Bush/Cheney re-election committee (and that K. Harris was too) -- Maher feigned (??) surprise over the Blackwell connection -- Al had just said a little litany of some of the things that Blackwell imposed(paper weight, provisional ballots, people calling and telling wrong precincts so those casting provisional ballots would cast them in the wrong place).

They went from the election to Iraq -- though Vidal did bring it back around one time....

If Al is really considering on running, he better look at the NATIONAL information (not just Ohio) -- he said right after the election -- he had to make a decision "fast" and that he had e-vote machine manufacturers and a few other academics (prior to all of the numbers that have been looked at). I wondered if his use of the word "fast" was somehow opening himself up to considering additional information -- he said he DIDN'T know about the 3rd party candidates in Ohio getting more votes than Kerry when Vidal mentioned it? Take it he wasn't interested in the recount efforts, then...

10. I've written Al snail mail...
In addition to sending his show numerous e-mails regarding election fraud, I've been sending him snail mail. Who knows? Maybe it had an impact. I doubt he receives much snail mail from listeners. I encourage all of you to do the same. Al emphasizes that exposing rightwing corruption should be Dems' focus in 2006. So let's speak to Al on those terms...that corruption doesn't stop on election day.

Air America Radio
3 Park Avenue
New York, NY 10016

When Sam Seder took Jerry Springer's place this week, HE TALKED ABOUT ELECTION FRAUD! YES! And he brought up Jim Lampley's article on The Huffington Post.

We've been trying to get Jerry to talk about election fraud, but so far, he hasn't (to my knowledge). We should write his show and thank Sam for bringing it up.
