Bush blames first responders....they were there in the beginning
and still are if they are alive. They are the heroes...and to say that it was meant to work from the ground up...is true...and all the local help, and doctors from outside the area, all were there and when they used up all they had...no one came. But, they were there. To blame the first responders..is evil They are heroes! This spin of "meant to work from the ground up" has Rove all over it. He's right and they were there. Where were they? We know, now. Too busy vacationing. But to blame the first responders, after 911 and not drop supplies when you know they will run out after so many hours..is evil. Let's reframe this and turn it around...Bush is now blamiong the first responders.

1. Oh, that's just Bush playing the blame game.
He's trying to cover up the negligent homicide he committed.

2. This is an amazing account of first hand experience:

Two days after Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans, the Walgreen's store at the corner of Royal and Iberville streets remained locked. The dairy display case was clearly visible through the widows. It was now 48 hours without electricity, running water, plumbing. The milk, yogurt, and cheeses were beginning to spoil in the 90-degree heat. The owners and managers had locked up the food, water, pampers, and prescriptions and fled the City. Outside Walgreen's windows, residents and tourists grew increasingly thirsty and hungry.

The much-promised federal, state and local aid never materialized and the windows at Walgreen's gave way to the looters. There was an alternative. The cops could have broken one small window and distributed the nuts, fruit juices, and bottle water in an organized and systematic manner. But they did not. Instead they spent hours playing cat and mouse, temporarily chasing away the looters.

3. Yes, Bush is playing the blame game and it is working...
we need to reframe it...the working from the bottom up is the "first responders" and they were there....anderson cooper had a doctor on to clarify this...when he ran out of supplies he brought, none were dropoped. He said he never saw anything like it. He has traveled berfore to offer his services, and no one or no supplies came! First responders were heroes in 911 and now they get the blame....bush polls rising...I'm just telling you....the general public is not you.
