if you go to any of the cindy sheehan events
there will be paid disruptors, ala the miami mob. when they want to shut down the speakers, they shout usa usa. i was at one yesterday, and i was shouting back- o-hi-o, and count the votes, not too late to count the votes. sadly, no one else picked up the chant.
i would like to see it catch on, tho. it seemed like the perfect response to me.

1. Hey, mo! You are so f'ing cool. You went. I love it.
Please, please, please: write a good, long account of what happened today. I especially want to hear about the rent-a-mob.

3. i got to touch cindy
and i got to hand her a few of these-

i had sent some to crawford, with a note saying that i hoped it was ok to use casey's name. i only got to talk for a second. but she did tell me that she got the buttons. so, that was great to hear. that means many little pinkos made it to camp casey. yeah!!
there is a little about the rent-a-mob in the illinois forum. i wrote to a reporter that i talked to that day, and begged her to try to find out who these people were.

4. ya missed the point
these thugs were party operatives. they are the ones on the ground, carrying out this shit. we have got to tell them that we know what they did in november. if everyone in that crowd had picked up the chant- that is, if everyone in the crowd believed, those f'ers would have shit themselves.
they are not only evil and incompetent, they are illegitimate.

5. Not really
They know we know. They just don't care. That's what fascism is.

They believe their minority has the right (based on whatever "higher purpose" they care to rationalize it with) to rule the majority.

Better to co-opt them into an anti-bush chant. Make them feel impotent. Yes, it's merely a form of rhetorical violence, but violence is all they understand.

6. i wanted the rest of the crowd to know, too.
i know not everyone there believes. but some might have seen those thugs, heard that chant, and put 2&2 together. there is no more important fact about these people than that they are illegitimate. we need to catapult that out there. especially to those that think they got away with it.

8. I donl't think they even think about it in terms of rights. I think they
just know they can do it and get away with it, so they do. Bullies don't really think in terms of "I have the right."

12. If something is to be shouted in response I like Griffy's idea better.
USA! USA! USA!

The goal is to stop the shouting so that the speakers can be heard,
not to get into a shouting match.

13. Ain't gonna study WAR NO MORE
war no more- I thought would make a good song/chant with the
WAR NO MORE building louder each time- IT is a phrase that is easy to yell very loud.
Actually New Orleans or Katrina work- but of course we don't want to drown out the speakers. but when we march in WDC around the Whitehouse ???? LOUD!
