It's pretty ironic that
What the media is saying, in an attempt to discredit the fraud issue, could actually end up helping Kerry. Here's what I mean ...

The stories that are being shown and written (often ridiculing this idea) emphasize that the fraud issue is all over the internet dfs and blogs, etc. This gives everyone the impression that it's "regular" people who are demanding investigation, and takes the possible label of "sore loser" off Kerry. I mean, I knew it could help Kerry to stay under the radar, but I just noticed the irony involved here ...

5. Well, aside from eating my way through any food that crosses my path
(darned election made me gain 10 pounds) I am ok.

Will feel better, though, if we can just get this voter fraud thing sorted out.

Hope you are also holding it together. :hi:

10. Wonder if weight watchers will see a rise in customers this month
I'm doing much better since finding this site Tues night. But, unfortunately, it's putting me behind with work. Too hard to focus on anything else ...

3. I find it hard to believe...
That I am more informed than Kerry is, so my assumption is that his staff is informing him of irregularities in this election. And I hope that your anaylsis will ring true--and he knew this ahead of time. Maybe I should send him my Reynolds cap?

7. Well you know
If I got silver-headed, I could say that it's possible that Kerry's team was responsible for the initial posts re. election fraud and that they've let it grow from there, guiding perhaps, along the way ... some parts of their speeches could be taken as assurances, you know ...

But of course that would just be too cool!

9. Leaving GOP a face-saving way out?
Assume for the moment that the Reps did steal the election.

Assume also that they fear they may be exposed, tarnishing the party's image, ruining careers, and possibly landing people in prison.

The ringleader could tell the GOP lackey running Ohio's election to throw Ohio to Kerry, possibly after reaching a behind-the-scenes agreement not to expose the fraud.

Remember, nothing is yet official in Ohio. And as Ohio goes, so goes the presidency (unless Florida flips first).

If we apply sufficient pressure, Ohio may "stumble upon" more glitches or votes that election officials had hid in a mattress somewhere. The more crap we uncover, the riskier it becomes for the GOP to grab Ohio.

If Kerry had come out accusing the GOP of fraud, he would have left them no face-saving way out of their self-created mess. This might be why they appear interested in learning everything we have uncovered but seem to avoid saying anything in public.

Not sure I believe my own speculation, but it might be a clever strategy. It could also potentially explain the absurd silence of the media and Democratic leadership. Perhaps the media's trying to help both sides broker a peaceful agreement rather than provoke Civil War II. This would also potentially explain why we can't get the raw exit poll data.

Any agreement would likely include other provisions, possibly including avoiding pursuit of the Valerie Pflame matter and other ugly potential scandals. It might also involve an agreement to avoid looking retrospectively at past elections in which, many of us have argued, the Reps may have stolen many more elections, such as those in Georgia 2002. I hope Kerry would not give the Reps a free pass on such things, but letting them off (at least partially) would kind of be like pardoning Nixon. I'm simply speculating about what might happen. Everything above is pure speculation.

11. Sounds nice, actually
Considering what I know of Kerry, I feel I have two choices:

1. Acknowledge that the dem party is a sham and only continues to make us think we have a choice.

2. Recognize that Kerry and Edwards are both competent lawyers and that they were aware of the foul play (or speculations thereof) from the last election, meaning they would have had to prepare themselves for something similar this time. If they were truly in it to win, they would have to know that this part would count as much as the debates, getting out the vote, etc.

If I look at Kerry's process for vp choice, I see:

He is methodical
He is thorough
He prefers to work in secret

That's why I can continue to hope that all is not lost ...

12. The bloggers are "framing" the message
I insist, the MSM is jumping into it because they have NO CHOICE AT THIS POINT.

Rove's propaganda squad is trying desperately to regain control but they are struggling with the facts.

That they sent Coulter and Hannity is a good sign, indeed.

Look, you need to understand, they don't have to talk about this. If they "won" without cheating it would go away, eventually.

But again, they used SBV to smear Kerry and it worked. They don't want to see it growing by the minute. But there is nothing they can do about it!
