Election problems? Report them here- important
The election problems aren't over- the system is still a mess. so it important to monitor and be active in preventing corrupt practices.
And documenting such!
Here's how:

If you experience any problem casting your ballot -- finding the polling place, voter intimidation, accessibility issues, voting machine problems, provisional ballot
issues, etc. -- or you witness anyone having voting problems, please immediately
call 1-866-OUR-VOTE to report the problem. Please let others know too... the same number works nationwide.

Verified Voting Foundation volunteers and staff have developed a new version of the "Election Incident Reporting System" (EIRS) to record all problems reported to 1-866-OUR-VOTE. Since 2004, hundreds of organizations and thousands of individuals in the United States have used EIRS to help protect our right to vote and assure that every vote is counted as cast. If you'd like to know more about
EIRS, please visit VerifiedVotingFoundation.org and Voteprotect.org

1. Recommended.

I think this is something anyone can agree on, no matter how shiny their headgear. Report problems, so we have a record of them.

Rec'd to let DUers know they can do more than just post at DU if they experienced any problems with machines or people at the polls.

2. Yes, please do it
we need to know because they may have let the Dems have a "feel good" win tonight, while they may have had only a few things that they actually wanted to win.

What are the things that they (repugs) would have really wanted to and or had to win, out of all the election's tonight ?

3. I voted on a lever machine!
They had two big signs on the machine with the election district (precinct) number on them -- one on the left, one on the right. I went to the table on the left and MY NAME WASN'T IN THE POLL BOOK!

I felt like some Ohio/Florida/New Mexico/Iowa or Nevada Democrat who had about as much chance of having his vote cast or counted as a snowball in hell -- for about 10 seconds! Felt pretty crappy. Then I remembered, this is NY! No hassles voting here. WTF?

Well, fortunately, the table to the RIGHT of the machine was my precinct! They just had 2 big signs on the machine -- that's all.

Everything was under control.

especially lever machines in N.Y. city
they should have declared the elections null and void in N.Y.
as they weren't real elections

they also had fraud and manipulation in specific area races

9. Per capita, we had fewer problems than many states in '04.
And a number of those EIRS machine problems were dupes.
You see the same locations several times.
That said, I'm sure we're not perfect.

7. I KNOW the UNOFFICIAL results for my precinct are light.
I know what caused the problem and I know the problem was documented. I will monitor the results website and if the bad number has not been corrected at that time, I will squawk. For the meantime, I will trust in the system to make sure the numbers are corrected.

8. Monmouth Dems not yet conceded because of faulty lever machine
in Marlboro Twp. The Democrats have not yet conceded because only 217 votes separated O'Scanlon from Panter.

This is a NJ state assembly race.
