Number one: The fraud would still have been there.
Number two: If he couldn't survive the primaries, which were brutal enough, then he sure as hell wouldn't have survived the Bush junta and the Rove machine.
So he was conspired against. That's politics for ya. It's like whining about your team losing because of the officals after the game is done. If he were tough enough, he wouldn't have lost in the first place. Now cut it out. Trust me, I'm a football fan. We don't need to be the 40-whiners in here. Not productive.
Bush and Co would have gotten whoever went in, at their weakest point. It didn't really matter. The only candidate I heard them actively fear was Edwards. He was too charismatic and Kennedy-esque for some of the Republicans. He scared them.
Kerry was a very well-rounded candidate, experience-wise. He proved that in the debates. And after all this fraud is exposed, we may find that he did indeed win. So what did he really do wrong in that case? Nuthin.
We thought he was brilliant a week ago.
And do you really think Dean would have done better than 55 million?
Having said all this, I do have a new-found admiration for the man. He's a stand-up guy with alot of passion. But even he admits he was naive on the ways of politics. He learned a thing or two this time and can apply it to the next. He'll have to get past the "nut job" label is all. Rush is praying he gets the DNC post. So am I, but for different reasons. We could use a bit of passion in that post. Go Dean DNC.
(it is the DNC and not the DLC, right? Auch, it's late. Good night.)
