there is some humor going on here. if the election was stolen, it would not be seriously hawked by an infomercial. it's just a slant, a somewhat humorous way to get your attention. Don't take it too seriously.

PLUS (and more importantly) as the "ad" says, it's not ONLY about selling the book. It's about starting a movement. It is true, the book is one of the best tools we have for jump starting the movement. Miller would tell you, the greater issue is the movement, not the book. The book is a tool. He did not write this book to get rich. And it is true, the book is blacklisted...

Do you have any more info on this? I'm just curious about how this comes about. How does one know if their book is being blacklisted?
I've already passed on my copy to my room mother from my classroom. She just happened to mention she wasn't as happy with the little nitwit as she once had been, and had asked me what book I'd read over a recent break. She seemed quite interested, so the book went home with her son the very next day.

I went to the largest bookstore around... hundreds of thousands of books. Did that have Fooled Again in stock? Nope. Did they ever? No, they didn't stock it.

It had to be blacklisted. And now my name is on a data base somewhere, because I had to order it. The bastards.

even NPR won't cover it. I guess I shouldn't say "even" anymore because NPR is completely currupt now.

but as an example, a group tried to pay for some underwriting spots on a local NPR station and they were all set up to do it and when they showed them the text they wanted to be read for the underwriting spot, the NPR affiliate dropped the deal.

MCM has mentioned this a few times in his interviews. He's written many books before and he always makes the rounds on the talk shows and gets reviews in the magazines. This time, he's getting the cold shoulder. The blacklisted attitude.

by the way, for those interested in blacklisting, check out Woody Allen's great film, The Front. It's from back in the 70s but relevant to today. And, I'm in it! I was about 10 years old and I was an extra, but you can clearly see me for about 30 seconds.

hateful Coulter, or a book full of outright lies by O'Leilly, but they don't stock Mark's book? Well, that just sucks. I'm going to check the bookstores in my area to see if they have copies. If they don't, I'm going to ask them why not.
I saw Mark on the tube once, when the book first came out, but that's been it.
