Does any org. keep track of voting machines by serial numbers?
Has any organization started a database of voting machine serial numbers by state and county? This would be handy for tracking where and when the voting machines are being moved. Are state election offices sharing their voting machine databases with other states?

2. Try prying that info out of registrar's & SOS's
When you have testimony, for example in San Diego, 2004, that poll workers had to take the machines home, "tracking" becomes an empty word.
