HOW MANY glitch and hack stories in MSM will it take for people to get it?

We are seeing the stories daily now, and even in MSM. So many that Bradblog can't even cover them all. The Hursti HAck and its repurcussions. Machine failure. Phantom votes. Of course, those problems are just due to innocent "glitches" and "human error," as we are repeatedly told. Land Shark has pointed out the danger in the glitch propaganda.

How long will it take before there is a massive uprising?
How many times do we have to hear "just a glitch", and especially followed by "but not enough to change the outcome of the election" as we hear story after story, daily, of all kinds of machine problems in primaries, and then the fall elections, before people get it? Why are elections the beta test for the machines?

And another thing as long as I'm on my soapbox: We don't talk nearly enough about how just plain unreliable and error prone these damn machines are, even without the hackable/riggable aspect. That's what really struck me when I read Mythbreakers. http://www.votersunite.org/

point, the elections officials in the local areas. The companies are high pressure marketers, they're full of lies and money, they intimidate, they cajole, they swagger, they promise, they lie some more, they seem to know what they're talking about, they have video tapes that show how much better it is to do without the paper trail, etc. It's all completely irrational and yet it's carried out with such swagger and bravado that the officials just have no defense to it. Very gradually, we're making inroads but it's just frustratingly slow.

And the elections people are just good, average people who don't know much of what's going on. They are highly susceptible to this kind of marketing. Plus, the Repubs and Bush are intentionally raising the decibel level and the pitch level, forcing them to make decisions too quickly. It's the worst possible scenario.

The good thing is that gradually all the mistakes and all the crimes and the lies are beginning to accumulate and a few of the MSM outlets are beginning to see. The Nashville Tennessean editorial stance just taken is hopefully the beginning of many such newspaper stands.

Eventually, everything comes out in the wash.

Just wish the wash-cycle would come on already.

Will that do it maybe, or when middle-class Americans realize they can't easily bail-out in bankruptcy. You'd be surprised how many I chat with know absolutely nothing about it. Why? Because they're too busy working, spending 2 1/2 hours on the highways just to make it home. Realtors I stay in touch with weekly call and tell me foreclosures are on the uprise daily.

Will that tick them off? Wait and see...

Now there are municipalities around the country with buyers remorse and still stuck with these VotePods that seem to mysteriously fail 100% in favor of Republicans.

should more than explain the problem in getting this taken seriously. "Glitch" and "hack" just doesn't sound the claxon bells... The powers that be are terrified of an accurate count. That is the only possible explanation.

If this discussion was moved to the front page (i.e. 24/7 TV coverage) and covered honestly, The Big Money Guys would be in deep doodoo.
