Actually, it's not funny.

Just Do What the Cartoon Lady Tells You To

If you live anywhere but New York, New Mexico or Connecticut, chances are good that you will be voting on touchscreen voting systems this year. I’ll be voting on the horrible Danaher ELECTronic (get it?) 1242. That means that our votes, maybe yours and definitely mine, will be unverified and unverifiable.

You may live in a state that has voter-verified paper ballot legislation on the books, which is great. Voter-verified paper ballots are what we want. Unfortunately, we also need proper audits to count those ballots to know if the voting machines counted correctly. There isn’t a state in the union that has that provision.

If you are among the unlucky Americans who will be going through the motions on touchscreen machines, you may be interested in a little cartoon the state of Pennsylvania has put together to educate Pennsylvanians about the different machines we’re using. It is, without doubt, the most inane presentation I’ve ever seen on the topic of voting.
