Specifically, by hedda-foil, co-founder of the National Ballot Integrity Project, and Bev Harris of BBV.org. the 527 was formed specifically to fund the recounts, and because neither the Ballot Integrity Project nor BBV.org could legally do so on their own.

Hedda and DUer IdaBriggs were instrumental in starting this whole ball rolling in the first place (see Background below).

If you want your money to go to funding the recounts, IMO that's the best one to make your donations to. Money given to BBV.0rg will also be well-spent, since they are doing massive FOIA requests across the country, but I don't believe any of that money can legally be used for recounts. *****Want to Help America Recount?
