I wanted you all to be the first people to know the great news from the
Secretary Galvin's office:

The Secretary of State is releasing statewide certified signature totals
to the campaigns. As of yesterday afternoon at 3:30, we had over 7,900
certified signatures - and some of the clerks are still counting!

Congratulations to everyone who worked so hard to get us past this first
hurdle. John's campaign is officially moving ahead, and we've got
serious momentum.

As I posted on John's blog the other day, we made our goal of 10,000 raw signatures, ensuring that John will get well over the 5,000 certified signatures needed to get on the ballot. But there are two steps to qualifying for the Democratic primary ballot for statewide office. In addition to the required number of certified signatures, a candidate needs at least 15% of the delegate vote at the state convention. That won't happen until June 3rd.

I defer to your writing style, but prefer saying it this way:

"That WILL happen in June 3rd!"
