Equipment counted straight-party Dem votes as Libertarian

A GOODIE FROM LBN: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=102x981315

BROOKVILLE, Ind. - Election equipment counted straight-party votes for Democratic candidates as Libertarian votes, an error that could affect election outcomes in as many as nine counties, the Richmond Palladium-Item reported today.

Democrats discovered the error in Franklin County, where ballots will be counted again tonight.

The county's election equipment vendor, Fidlar, notified officials Wednesday of the error.

Libertarian candidates received 7 to 8 percent of the votes in Franklin County, which is about 30 miles south of Richmond.

4. Add this to the growing list of screw-ups
Yet the main stream media is silent.

You don't have to think it's fraud to realize that there were huge errors that must be corrected before the next election.

5. God only knows how many Kerry votes "accidently" went to * instead.
I would like to see an estimate of what Chimps pop vote would really look like when all the Opp's vote are added, counted, or just fucking lost.

9. OK, here is the stuff that seems ridiculous.
"-snip-
Franklin County Democratic Chairman Jim Sauerland questioned Clerk Marlene Flashpohler on Tuesday about the results after seeing information on the final tally he couldn't decipher, Flashpohler said. That's when Flashpohler contacted Fidlar, who agreed Wednesday there was an error.

The Franklin County Election Board agreed at an emergency meeting today to recanvass the ballots tonight. Noon Friday is the deadline to contest the election results.

-snip-

Fidlar has optical scan machines in nine Indiana counties, including two in the 9th Congressional District, where Democrat Baron Hill was narrowly defeated.

Flashpohler said Fidlar officials have said Franklin County is the only county where a database error occurred."

So, you have to contact the vendor to even confirm there is a screw up. No explanation for the screw up or how it happened yet they say it only happened in that place. Oh, sure, whatever you say.

The Democrat had to contact the vendor because he was confused.

It was another optical scan machine.

11. not a single "glitch" or "discrepancy" has been in a Dem's favor
It's ALWAYS repub.

GOSH, WHAT A COINKYDINK!

Another reason I'm a bona-fide "coincidence theorist".

Again, their behavior falls into the "It's easier to apologize than to get permission" realm of thought. This is how these people ALWAYS work. We invaded Iraq on false pretenses. OOPS! We're sorry, we're stuck there now, and ultimately, you'll see, it'll be a good thing.
You mean we have this equipment that gave us the election fraudulently? WHOOPS! We're sorry! We had no idea that would happen! Gosh, well in the meantime all the repubs that won will just stay in office and get to the bottom of this, okay? Okay!

16. Do we all have that warm fuzzy feeling, yet?
I have so much confidence in these machines I can barely contain myself. Did ANYBODY test these programs before releasing them? Or is this just not done anymore? Rhetorical questions. I know the answers. Unbelievable.
