2. Funding the Recounts...
As far as I know from what I've read it shakes down like this:

Nader is recounting New Hampshire:

http://www.votenader.org

Cobb and Badnarik are Recounting Ohio

http://www.votecobb.org (Be sure to make note in contribution for Ohio recount.)

http://badnarik.org/ (No mention of recount involvement on his site. I donated to Cobb.)

(http://www.thealliancefordemocracy.org/ may also become involved here but I don't know the details.)

Blackboxvoting.org and Bev Harris are recounting Florida according to an interview on Air America (and possibly other states according to earlier comments this week on the Mike Malloy Show):

http://www.blackboxvoting.org

http://www.helpamericarecount.org

As far as figures.... I have heard the base cost of NH will be $2000 and Nader has sent the check to Concord (Countown on MSNBC tonight) and about $113,000 for Ohio with about $15,000 raised already. (http://www.bluelemur.com/index.php?p=415)

3. the problem with recounting Florida
is that the biggest most liberal counties there, where the large numbers make it easiest to steal votes en mass, have touchscreens with nothing to count.
