Dobbs just did a tough piece on electronic voting with Kitty Pilgrim
reporting and she said the federal government has completely dropped the ball on this. She said that all the experts are astounded that this is going on and that local governments are not moving to do what needs to be done to secure the machines.

Dobbs has a grip on this one now - he doesn't appear to be shaking it off. But, let's keep on him.

1. K&R Good news again from Lou

If you have any questions about the impact of the voting machines, long term race-based voter disenfranchisement, etc. check these resources out. There vetted and high quality overviews of
separate aspectds of election fraud.

12. I often suspect the DLC of being a wholly owned subsidiary of the RNC.
Why do I suspect that?

Because if the DLC was OPPOSED to the RNC it would act like it once in a while! We are indeed in deep doo-doo when righties like Lou Dobbs have to do the Democrats' work for them.

17. they don't know it yet, but the DLC is dead meat. They cut their own
wrists in the hot tub, but will all the painkillers, they don't feel it yet.
good riddance, too.

19. thats the crazy part
often people get mad at the GOP over these machines, but it
is the idiots like Linda Lamone, Cathy Cox, etc that
swear by the machines.

And then, even in NC, we had bi-partisan support -
but if we hadn't gotten harsh, I believe the dems would have
left us sitting there paperless. No kidding.

The GOPers were mostly suspicious, wondering what we might
do with the paper, but otherwise, all they cared about
was cost issue.

That is how they helped us - by using the cost to push
for optical scanners.

4. Is he the only one with a regular show who talks about this issue?
I can't think of anyone else who does, or who else will get the issue in front of the most people.

6. George W on Larry King
did anyone watch that?if so my hubby was telling me that when
George W and Laura was on Larry King live he was really
convinced that the repukes were going to stay in office. I
think he has come up with something to keep the repukes in
office and he won't be impeached.

11. John Washburn did a great job...
John Washburn looked quite dapper, and Lou Dobbs put
Vote Trust USA's name up on the screen.

Great job John.

It was also good to hear DeForest Sories tell it like
it is.

He said there ARE No standards.
None.

This may be my favorite show, but they have all been so good!

Way to go John, you make us proud.
Thank you!

PS, Vote Trust is putting the videos of the shows up as they get to them.
Here are recent Lou Dobbs/Election Reform videos:

14. There needs to be an electronic voting machine channel on cable.
Everyday there's enough drama and excitement to make for a days' viewing. Dobbs is onto something. He could be a new news anchor to challenge the Kitty Courics of the world.

If Dobbs and Olbermann got together at CBS, what do you think the ratings would be?

Give them a month and if they covered the big issues that aren't being covered, they'd easily have the highest ratings on TV.

UP UP AND AWAY!!

15. I always had a feeling about Dobbs.
I watched him in the early 90's before I turned my television off. He didn't set off my bullshit detector. There was just something about him. Maybe his demeanor.

I wrote him a long email recently. It's as though he listened to us.

I'll send him another, and thank him for his good efforts.

16. Listen up folks,,,
I am working on a DVD. it is going to have all the Lou Dobbs stuff on it and more. So far I have the 5 segments from a couple weeks ago when he was talking about it every night. My Tivo is set to record Dobbs every night, and then at the end of the week I scan through all the shows and clip out the segments on elections if there are any (didn't see any at all last week).

But I need more than just Dobbs. I missed the great Court-TV thing unfortunately.

I need Hi-Res recordings, from my Tivo or something similar, to put it on a DVD (web videos generally are not good for DVDs). So please post a heads up anytime you hear about a TV program coming soon taht will talk about elections. and if you saw one and it's going to be repeated, please PM me or post a thread. and if you have anything on your TIVO please burn a DVD and send it to me.

the DVD will go out for free. I'll distribute seeds and ask people to make more free copies.

any way folks can help out, please PM me.

and if anyone has a hi-res recording of that Court-TV show, don't delete it! send me a copy!

(unfortunately the videos that you watch on the web are too low res to put on a DVD... so sending me the link to it online isn't going to help)

and for those who have a habit of recording things and putting them up on the web (organik records, this means you) PLEASE save a high res version of it before you scale it down for the web.

soon, you'll be able to hand your friend a DVD that has all the Lou Dobbs and other stuff on it, and say, "go home and watch this."

bye for now
gary
