http://www.whitehouseforsale.org/blog/page.cfm?pageid=828Bush has stayed on his Crawford, Texas, ranch this week, allowing the Democrats their moment of undivided attention. But Friday, the campaign resumes. The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that it will start with a fundraising trip to Kirtland Hills, a small suburb of Cleveland.
A $2,000-a-plate dinner at the 71-acre estate of industrialist Edward Crawford will benefit the RNC's Victory 2004 campaign. The president will speak there after first speaking at the International Children's Games. The visit to the games, of course, cuts makes this an official visit instead of merely a campaign stop and allows taxpayers to foot much of the travel costs. Since Ohio is a major swing state, this likely to see Bush at more fundraisers and events.
Welcome back to business-as-usual, Mr. President.
