Anyone notice the quiet Dems?
With, aside from the six Congressmen, the Democrats remaining quiet on mostly EVERY big thing right now, it leads me to think something is cooking. This is nothing more than a gut feeling, but while the Dems have proven to be a spineless group in the last years, they were fired up like nothing before the election, and then... silence.

Could the answer be as simple and innocent as they are taking a break? Heh.

and planning strategy, I think. Also, it's a good notion to keep quiet and let the Rethugs start burning themselves with their own hubris and triumphalism.

2. i agree with the silence thing
I mentioned it to my fam this weekend, right before I came across DU. With Dean, Sharpton, Jackson, Clark, etc - NOT saying a word anywhere. It is suspect to me.

4. and not to mention
to me, it feels like the Dem party has really left it's contituents out to float. Aside from people like us who go digging for info, the average American who voted for Kerry might think that they have been forgotten already, after such an intense election as it was...

5. I'm right there with you, too
Sharpton and Jackson, in particular, would never let the massive voter issues in Florida pass without a word. Not a single word. It doesn't make sense.

But it must be driving GOP strategists mad! ;)

3. Congress is in lame duck session
Most of the State Legs are out or dormant. So there's nothing to do.

Plus, they have the ball. Like I say to my Repuke colleagues, "it's your world, Boss." So let's see what they do with it.

You have to be responsible to govern wisely. Repukes are generally not responsible. They are going to drive themselves over the ledge. You'll see.

that would generally represent the politicians of the Democratic Party, (oh Hillary :silly: 2008? well...) or, support the personnas as such. YES! This really is quite different.

I hope that we are all working on 2004!!!!!!!!!
