Dear Radio Inside Scoop Fan,
Thank you for writing to request an investigation of the irregularities in the 2004 election in Ohio and elsewhere.
You ask, and I deliver. Although, after repeated negotations the Ohio Secretary of State's office (which controls elections there) REFUSED to comment on the record, I've brought you the next best thing:
Congressman John Conyers of Michigan, the Ranking Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee, and the leader of the challenge to the Ohio vote.
See below, DON'T MISS TODAY'S SHOW, and pass the words on to your friends. If you miss the live show, it will be archived at www.RadioInsideScoop.com .

TODAY AT 3 PM EASTERN (2 Central, 1 Mountain, Noon Pacific) at www.RadioInsideScoop.com,
Please join me and my special guest, Congressman John Conyers of Michigan, the Ranking Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee, who, along with other Democrats has complained to the General Accounting Office about election law violations in Ohio, Florida, and across the nation. Don't hesitate to call in and ask him questions at 1-877-57-SCOOP.
The Green and Libertarian Parties have called for a recount in Ohio. This may make the Bush Administration a little nervous because if Ohio goes to Kerry, Kerry will occupy the White House on January 20. (Kerry's concession is not legally binding.)
The Ohio Secretary of State's office REFUSES to grant us an interview on THE INSIDE SCOOP to discuss the myriad of problems there (as Florida and Maryland did). What do you think Ohio is trying to hide?
What happened in Ohio?
- Discarding of 94,000 votes, due to punchcard problems - Some 175,000 provisional ballots in Ohio yet to be counted - Faulty election machines, including one that accidentally gave 3.900 votes to Bush - No paper records of electronic machines - Warren County illegally closed off to the media when it conducted its counting giving 70% of the vote to Bush (and a 50,000 vote margin) - Long lines in the rain in Democratic-leaning counties. Some had to wait for up to 6 to 10 hours! - Failure to distribute absentee ballots as required by law - Republican voting challenges on Election Day - Failure to let people outside their precincts vote - Refusal to allow people to register to vote if the paperstock of their absentee registration form weighed too little! (after an outcry, this one was reversed)
And in Florida? And across the nation?
Many listeners have requested this show. Don't miss a very special INSIDE SCOOP.
