Voting problems in Marion County set off a series of accusations by Democrats of wrongdoing by Republicans. Democrats walked up to reporters Tuesday morning at the City-County Building and didn't pull any punches.

"Good morning. As we predicted, it was utter chaos this morning at polling places across the county and we're furious," said Ed Treacy, Marion County Democratic Chair.

Ed Treacy says voting machines in more than 170 districts failed to work. He also says "numerous" polling places failed to open on time because Republican inspectors failed to show up or arrived late. And Treacy says it's all intentional, Republicans trying to keep Democrats from voting.

"They knew this was coming. And this was designed by them to happen," Treacy said. "They are purposefully doing this stuff to deny people's right to vote."
