4. can someone please post this?
Greg Palast has a new article!
http://www.gregpalast.com/
KERRY WON OHIO
JUST COUNT THE BALLOTS AT THE BACK OF THE BUS
"This is the first time in four decades that a political party has systematically barred -- in this case successfully -- hundreds of thousands of Black voters from access to the voting booth. While investigating for BBC Television, we obtained three dozen of the Republican Party's confidential "caging" lists, their title for spreadsheets listing names and addresses of voters they intended to block on any pretext.
We found that every single address of the thousands on these Republican hit lists was located in Black-majority precincts. You might find that nasty and racist. It may also be a crime.
But that didn't stop the Republicans of '04. Their legally questionable mass challenge to Black voters is not some low-level dirty tricks operation of local party hacks. Emails we obtained show the lists were copied directly to the Republican National Committee's chief of research and to the director of a state campaign."

OMG this is horrible!!

Edited on Fri Nov-12-04 07:47 PM by Carolab
I doubt that Bush got the backing of even 40% of the electorate. The "people have spoken". Yeah, right, sure.

12. Sure, it's not like making sure all americans are able to vote, and that
the vote be safe and count. sure, that's so unimportant.

14. Hey, don't get your asbestos underwear in a bunch
Of course it is more important. None of us here dispute that. But we are all aware that the MSM hasn't covered it other then Keith for the most part. The fact Chris included it in his show at all is a victory for us. One step at a time. To expect to go from almost no Media coverege, to being ahead of the Arrafat story, welll, I'll let you figure that one out......

13. Amazing ain't it.
When the freepers were credited for the Dan Rather b.s. they were crowned the "new media". All the old media trumpeted their value and worthiness. And all on a completely bogus story. Now here we are trying to validate the very core of Democracy and we all should be held accountable.

And tweety's shocked look and statements have convinced me he is more worthless than I ever could have imagined. What a piece of crap.

15. You think you are mad now? Read this from facelift queen Peggy Noonan...
"Every time the big networks and big broadsheet national newspapers tried to pull off a bit of pro-liberal mischief -- CBS and the fabricated Bush National Guard documents, the New York Times and bombgate, CBS's '60 Minutes' attempting to coordinate the breaking of bombgate on the Sunday before the election -- the yeomen of the blogosphere and AM radio and the Internet took them down. It was to me a great historical development in the history of politics in America. It was Agincourt. It was the yeomen of King Harry taking down the French aristocracy with new technology and rough guts. God bless the pajama-clad yeomen of America. Some day, when America is hit again, and lines go down, and media are hard to get, these bloggers and site runners and independent Internetters of all sorts will find a way to file, and get their word out, and it will be part of the saving of our country."
