FL returns from State vs County websites - why are there differences?
Edited on Fri Nov-12-04 09:40 PM by DoYouEverWonder
Has someone who deals with numbers and financial information has part of my job, it bugs the hell out me when things don't balance or are inconsistent.

The following is a chart of the election returns posted by the State of Florida and the returns posted on the websites from each of the County Board of Elections.

In cases were the numbers matched, I've omitted those counties from the list. The counties listed on the chart are only the ones that did not agree with the total posted by the state. The counties where no results are posted are marked by an X. Funny how some of the most important counties and/or the counties that had faced lawsuits for fraud in 2000 have not posted their results on their websites?

One anomaly that I've noticed are the counties that disagree with the state by the same number of votes for both candidates. That seems very odd to me?

Also, it is very misleading when the state claims that 100% of the votes have been counted in every county, even though supposedly the provisional ballots and absentee ballots have not been counted yet?
