Has Diebold done their work, or what?
During KC's mayoral race, Ray James, the GOP ED, claimed that "overzealous electioneering" trumps "glitches".
One voter at Our Lady of Sorrows Church near Crown Center said she experienced trouble when trying to use the electronic touch screen to vote.
Sallye Benecke said that when she touched the screen next to one mayoral candidate’s name, the machine tried to record the other candidate’s name. After voiding the machine several times, Benecke said, she touched another part of the screen and it recorded the correct vote.
When she called the election board, officials told her they would check on the machine immediately.
Kansas City Election Board officials said glitches are expected and they are geared up to deal quickly with reported problems.
The most common voter complaints concerned “overzealous electioneering” outside polling places, James said.
“That’s very typical of any election,” James said.Yeah. I'll bet they are. People tend to complain about what they see, not about what they
don't see. (KC uses the Diebold
