It's more the American People & the media's fault that this might "die"
People just don't even want to hear about it and the media is not reporting it. People are apathetic and uncurious. Most of my die-hard Dem friends don't even believe it and they're in a funk and don't want to hear anything more about the election. They don't want to expend any more energy.

If the people don't care - then no-one else cares. I don't know if Kerry being "out there" would be any better than what he is doing now.

The thing that I wonder is where is Dennis Kucinich? Cuyahoga Falls is his district. I can't believe that he has given up. HE'S gotta be doing something behind the scenes. Where is Howard Dean, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson? They are never intimidated to speak out. I think they've got to be keeping quiet for some reason. It's very strange....

2. reality

This is the only issue out there that could bring the country to its KNEESSS and in short order.....

I don't think anyone is holding them back, just its a matter of finding the right leaders who have nothing to lose...

3. I heard Ralph Nader yesterday on Ed Schultz and he said that Dennis
Kucinich is working on the votes in Ohio. He also said that Kerry's lawyers are doing their own search.

On the other hand, he said that Kerry gave up too soon and should be more aggressive and outspoken about the irregularities.

6. someone had posted a letter from dennis
the other day in here - I can't find it though. He was speaking about how he is pursuing this issue to make sure every vote is counted (and counted properly)

5. Most folks are tired and this is party, very much so, the media
the media made this a personality context, and right now the media will nto cover it

Look for MOST muricans what is on the nightly news is well NEWS... and ABC already did innoculate your frieds (conspiracy theories)

IF there is anything to this that can be brought to bear, it will take as long as Watergate am afraid, and it may do even more damage than Watergate to the American people, and to a point this is what the right counts on.

Now you may want to start showing the data to your friends, and undoing the innoculation from the MSM...

Reporters these days have forgtotten how to report, it is now to us

8. The Media Stole another Election...it wasn't values it wasn't Kerry in
particular as a candidate. It was how Karl Rove "framed the discussion and our candidate." If George Bush II was a Democrat he would have lost...it's the way the Media works for the Rove/Corporate/Think Tank mentality.

Many Democrats are lazy...they want it to go away, and if the media says it's conspiracy then they say...nothing to see there move along. Those who didn't vote don't care one way or the other. They are just "accepting" of life in general whether they starve or make millions.

It's up to the bands of activists who were awakened during the Clinton "Impeachment" and on to the Selection 2000, Midterms and now this...to keep fighting. We gain in strength every day by sharing info and keeping each other going in spirit and commeraderie.

It always comes down to the "few" doing the work of the many. We must take back the Media or Become our Own Media. And, keep hammering that it isn't something "wrong with us as Democrats" but that we are up against Money and Power who don't want to relinquish it.

16. Good post, KoKo01 !! You're so right about that -- it's up to those who
KNOW what's going on to carry this battle. And every single person that we can explain the situation to, could easily become the next activist to fight along side of us.

This is a battle for Democracy, not the latest "episode" of Survivor. It's not going to break for commercials, and it's not going to be over at the top of the hour. Democracy is government BY THE PEOPLE, and it's the people that need to work at it every day of our lives....it's our ONLY REAL job!!

I thought it was pretty interesting that the VERY FIRST THING that bush did after announcing that he was "anointed with a mandate from God and the evangelicals" (and the most recent poll shows that evangelicals DID NOT vote in greater numbers than usual), that he's going to trash the social security system. One by one the people will be waking up, and it's up to us to make sure they have the tools they need to fight this battle when they finally DO wake up.

And then will come the military draft....and four more wars.

:kick::kick::kick:

12. When we unearth evidence on the ground in NH and Ohio, it won't matter
It won't matter how apathetic people around the country are right now. When the hard evidence comes to light, this will go forward. Nothing will stop it. You want to see a surge of positive energy in this country? Just wait until the results are overturned in Ohio.

John Kerry will be inaugurated in January, 2005. :toast:

15. The media will have no other choice, will they? Damn, if things are
screwed up in NH, which Kerry won by the seat of his pants, think about what took place in OH? If we get the results back from NH, which becomes completely different than on Nov. 2nd, you're going to see some pretty pissed citizens who will demand more! How could they ignore that? The media better wake up! They are dealing with America!
