It's not about the Clintons or Obama...

Yes, I do think the reelection of the Clintons as a dynasty alternating with the Bushes is the Nightmare Scenario. So what!

Here is what matters about the NH controversy:

1) Manipulable machines should never be counting our votes. All results should be subject to a full hand count.

2) The first question in New Hampshire is whether the machines provided a clean count of the actual votes on paper.

3) If the count wasn't clean, there are several possible explanations, including:

a) A third party (such as the Republicans, or Diebold/Premiere) wished to manipulate the primary results on behalf of a particular narrative for 2008.

b) Glitch in the memory cards.

I think both of those scenarios are far likelier than c), someone on the Clinton side fixed the election. And this although I dislike the Clintons.

gets reintroduced gets passed, and we are still stuck with the secret vote counting machines.
