ON TV: demodonkey speaking on PA State Capitol steps about VVPB & (mostly) the need for healthcare.
Edited on Thu Jun-19-08 07:15 PM by demodonkey

There was a Rally today in Harrisburg PA (our state capital) for Single-Payer Healthcare, one of five rallies in the state.

demodonkey spoke about VotePA, VVPB, and (mostly) the horrible problems her mother has been having getting healthcare after her stroke.

Some of you have met my mother and you know what a fighter she is. For teaching every youngster -- especially about history, citizenship, voting and democracy. For being a pollworker. For fair voting for everyone and voter-verified paper ballots. And for the least two and a half years, to get better from this stroke in spite of terrible roadblocks. She truly IS my hero.

Scheduled to be broadcast TONIGHT (Thursday June 19) on the Pennsylvania Cable Network. PCN-TV at 9:30 PM Eastern. Rebroadcast tomorrow (Friday June 20) at 3:35 PM and 5:00 PM Eastern

Available on Cable in Pennsylvania, and online at http://www.pcntv.com

Remember Andy said that after VVPB, healthcare is the next issue. He was so right.........
