Oprah Opts for Early Voting, Has Voting Booth Meltdown (Video)

Oprah Winfrey announced on her live show Friday that she took advantage of Illinois' early-voting laws and voted Thursday in Chicago — but not without a voting booth scare and near emotional meltdown.

"I was worried that there's gonna be such long lines, and I have a live show," Winfrey said, justifying her decision to vote early.

She waited 72 minutes to vote, only to have a near-meltdown in the booth.

"When I voted yesterday electronically, the first vote that you vote for on the ballot is the presidential candidate. It was my first time doing electronic, so I didn't mark the X strong enough, or I held down too long. Because then when I went back to check it, it had not recorded my presidential vote," she said.

She then simulated her meltdown, shaking and breathing heavily while stuttering out the words, "It didn't record my presidential vote."

all over the States and within a State. Right? Can the vote be double checked on all the machines?

I deplore Democrat leaders who did very little to make our vote safe in the last eight years.

If we learn the who what where of the GRAND THEFT of VOTES in opposition to the Constitution of the U.S. - we will learn - that the profits that were going to go to the companies who built and sold the machines would be divvied out to friends - and that having multiple machines mixed not matched with a State and between States would add to the confusion and 'their' ability to steal votes and cover it up. Chaos and confusion of messages. Standardization would not be goog for vote theft.

Perhpas the chaos and confusion has led to our leaders, federal and state, doing such a lousy job of allowing honesty to reign.

I place the blame on where we are with the media, naysayers, and our leaders.

(And don't forget - Senator Hagel of Nebraska is/was high up in a side business of making one of the voting machines on which votes have been stolen).

our elected officials will continue with the complacency, thinking it is all OK, that there must be no problem or else we would not have won. Look how few came forward to challenge the 2004 results.
