Please Donate to VotersUnite/Daily Voting News

Today begins a couple days of doing the business of keeping ourselves afloat funds wise.

We don’t get any assistance from any other funders. We are not financially supported by PEW or any other foundation. We rely on the public and their small donations of $20, $50 or $100 to keep us doing what we do.

Please help us help our democracy with a donation.

The information for how to donate is all located here http://www.votersunite.org/donate.asp

1. Where do they stand on Hand Counted Paper Ballots?
What method of vote/ballot counting do they promote?

We need a seal of approval, websites need to promote first and foremost that America needs to return to Hand Counted Paper Ballots, counted and posted before the ballots leave the polling place.

This needs to be priority one.

2. The seal of approval is that VotersUnite does good work.

If you are such a long-time expert on vote counting and its related problems, it is hard to understand how you would not know VotersUnite and the work they have done.

They put the rubber to the road. They collect and then put out good-quality useful information that has helped many activists and other organizations nationally.

Unlike some.

Especially unlike some on this forum, who scream and yell and whine constantly that they want hand counted paper ballots, clogging up this entire board and basically creating a denial of service attack of sorts for everyone else -- but when asked won't even say what if anything they themselves have done in (even just in their own state or county) to achieve the HCPB they claim to want so badly.

Geesh.

3. Great. Now explain how your stints as a pollworker went
--and how long it would have taken you to count all the races on your November 2008 ballot before going home.
