NY: County leaders may join voting machine lawsuit
Dec 9, 2009. A number of members of the Warren County Board of Supervisors plan to be plaintiffs in a lawsuit that will challenge the legality of the state's decision to force counties to use new electronic voting machines.

let the public assume they were election officials.

Our guys and gals blended right in.

One of our guys went to the DRE machines and pointed out the major flaws in them
to his "fellow" election officials.

We had folks at all of the demos.

Computer Scientist Justin Moore was at a presentation by Diebold in Durham County,
and Justin kept asking the Diebold guy to demonstrate the GEMS database system.
He kept asking the guy to click on the button (which would show how easily the data
could be manipulated)

We had one place where fist fights almost broke out - Chatham County.

In Asheville, there was a lady there just sobbing and asking why they were allowing
Diebold to promote their wares.

It was quite a circus.
