14. Afraid are you?
I am not a tin foil hat wearer and I don't believe in UFOs or anything like that.

The Bush Crime Cartel is capable of doing anything.

Since you have a low post count I am skeptical about you being skeptical.

27. FCAT In Florida
I can't remember exactly, but I called into Guy James once, and he remembered this. Neil's company produces the test, that is used, in a manner of speaking, to screw public schools and bring lots of private $ to the bu$h family. I'll do a little more research when I have time. This is just something vague I remember off the top of my head.

11. The reason why I say it is reaching isn't because I don't think Neil Bush
isn't capable of being involved, but the idea that he used his software to teach these kids is kinda out there.

However, there is something I didn't think about before. That being that maybe he could have coded the script to do most of the election night stuff, while the kids just executed the plan. STILL WAY OUT THOUGH.

I never said the letter wasn't way out. I still have no idea how credible it is. I wish everyone would stop implying that I have been saying that the letter is the BEST THING EVER!

2. Who is saying kids executed Votergate? --- Besides Jeff Fisher.
3. A Bush/Bush connection is a lot easier to accept than the Blass story.
4. I did not imply you said "that the letter is the BEST THING EVER!" but you do seem much more willing to believe The Letter than something like this which, to me anyway, seems to be a pretty reasonable, logical guess.

Neil Bush to introduce Web-based learning at local school

Neil Bush, brother of President George W. Bush, will be at Shroder Paideia Academy in Kennedy Heights Jan. 29 to introduce Ignite, a Web-based learning system.

Bush is the founder of Ignite, which combines a unique instructional design for teachers with Internet-based technologies.

According to Humana Health Plan of Ohio, the community sponsor of Ignite, the system builds on students' individual learning styles and strengths, letting them customize their learning experience.

19. More!
Found this:http://www.workingforchange.com/article.cfm?ItemID=12843

According to Newsweek, in October 2001, shortly after the United States began bombing Afghanistan, Bush stopped off in Dubai, Saudi Arabia , for an international technology conference.

Bush's visit to was sponsored in part by "the Saudi Binladin Construction Group and Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, the tycoon whose $10 million offer to help the victims of the World Trade Center attacks was rejected by New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani. Part of his reason for being there was he was recruiting Middle Eastern investors for his educational-software firm that industry sources say, "may benefit enormously from the new $26.5 billion education bill signed by President George W. Bush."

20. Push for profit right after 9/11 - kind of interesting...
While we were all reeling after 9/11 and the anthrax scare, so MUCH was being accomplished...

I have been looking for information on the specific types of Election equipment used in Wisconsin (and am having trouble getting answers). I found out that In October, 2001, the Wis. Elections Board received several requests from vendors of electronic voting equipment to have their equipment approved for use in Wisconsin.

The elections Board staff scheduled voting equipment demonstrations for 5 vendors during the week of October 29th. ONly two vendors, Election Systems and Software (ES&S), and Governmental Business Systems (GBS) were able to demonstrate their equipment. the remaining vendors had not completed the qualification testing with a NASED approved independant testing authority.HOW convenient...

Both vendors submitted a touch screen direct record electronic voting system for approval. ES&S also submitted firmware upgrades for its Model 100 polling place based counter and its Model 550 central counter. Both these models use optical scan ballots. The election board approved an earlier versiion of thie equipment. ES&S also submitted an upgrade to its Unity election management software for approval.

Edited on Mon Nov-15-04 04:36 AM by GingerSnaps
It keeps me awake at night because I keep thinking that Neil Bush's company has the source code. I think that it was written by one of the programmers that writes the software that is sold by Neil or that Neil has dealings with.

What a perfect little crime scene. * could have the police near the office 24/7 and no one would know anything was going on inside the building. All they would have to claim is a burglary and they would have 24/7 protection so that people couldn't get in or out.
"Lock down"

Can someone check to find out if the government has had dealings with any company in the building recently and cut them a check ;)

24. Florida Schools
http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article3334.htm
05/11/03: (Information Clearing House) This maybe small potatoes by comparison with all the other Bush clan scams, but nevertheless Ignite! Learning has made Neil Bush $20 million over the past three years. Not bad for a guy who ran Silverado S&L into the ground. With accusations of nepotism flying around all over the place, especially now that Neil Bush is trying to get the Florida school system to buy into his learning software (at $30 a pop per student per year), the state that his brother Jeb is governor of, it’s no wonder. Connected is the wholesale privatisation of state services, which opens such areas as education to the predations of people like Neil Bush and indeed, the whole issue of influence peddling.

25. There seems a motive
This looks like all three are in it... GW, Jeb and Neil according to this report I found here...

http://www.pww.org/article/articleprint/3725/

Author: Tim Wheeler
People's Weekly World Newspaper, 07/12/03
<snip>
At least 43,000 third-graders and 12,000 high school seniors failed the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT) this past May, triggering an angry protest movement by parents, students, and their supporters demanding that Gov. Jeb Bush suspend the high stakes exam.

The crisis brought home that Florida is once again a testing ground for Bush-led Republican attacks on the democratic rights of the people. FCAT is Florida’s version of a punitive test that will be forced on every public school student in every state under George W. Bush’s “No Child Left Behind” scam.

<snip>
He charged that Bush’s hidden agenda is privatization of the state’s public schools. “This is the most logical explanation,” Siplin said. “Vouchers are given to children to attend private schools where children are not required to take the FCAT for either advancement or graduation,” he said. “Gov. Bush’s brother, Neil, markets a program to help students prepare to take the FCAT.”

He was referring to a Texas-based software firm, Ignite! Inc., of which Neil Bush is the founder and CEO. The company has raked in $20 million selling software to prepare students to take comprehensive tests required under “No Child Left Behind.” Schools that fail the tests will face termination of federal assistance.

37. Theory
I'm not saying Neil Bush couldn't have been involved in the fraud -- but educational software for children is a stretch ... exactly how is that going to work? Sounds like from all the articles -- they're just a bunch of theivin' bastards, trying to make a buck... we already knew that.

Bill Gates? The man is too smart to get mixed up in this mess... except as an unwitting conspiritor who makes crappy insecure software(Mac User here). Diebold... might have had a cursory part in the fraud but nothing anyone will ever be able to prove -- without the President of Diebold himself saying 'yep, we did it' which from his previous comments might not be something completely out of the question, there's no way-- it's too much of a risk, what they might have done is leave their software open with obvious security issues... their excuse, <gasp> they hacked our software, what can we do?

MY THEORY is they used technology developed by the CIA -- Poppa(former CIA director ... oh yeah and President of the US and Baby George) can get their little grubby hands on this stuff...

Notice Bush signs a bill last year that gave the green light to the CIA developing a vast network which could initiate 'cyber-warfare' on US enemies -- they thought about using it in Iraq... taking down their entire power grid, thought better when someone thought it wouldn't go over well when they also took down the hospitals -- We have the technology and it has the capability of attacking hundreds/thousands of computers -- seems like a national election might be a good chance to test it all out. I'm no computer guru -- but sounds quite plausible to me. But that's just my theory.
