The Leadership of our Party failed us once again
Edited on Tue Nov-16-04 12:48 PM by Cheswick2.0
Nothing will be done in either Florida or Ohio because the leadership of our party does not want anything to be done. They would rather be defeated than look foolish fighting for democracy and getting called sore losers.
I do not believe that Kerry is behind or supporting the recount efforts. But what I want to know is: WHY DOESN'T IT MATTER TO THEM THAT BBV IS UNREALIABLE AND THAT THE ELECTION COULD HAVE BEEN STOLEN?

Why isn't that reason enough to insist on a recount?

1. These are very important issues, and must not be forgotten, and we need
to be focusing now on still getting the word out to the media, and also letting our elected officials know that we will not stand for them backing down in this matter. There is still too much denial and cognitive dissonance. As witnesses to the truth, we need to keep saying it until people wake up. The truth will come out, but we have a responsibility to make sure it does.

2. I have major cognitive dissonance and have since Nov 2nd
I think Kerry ran a bad campaign and that there was also vote fraud of the BBV variety.
If they do nothing I give up on the party. We can not continue to fight without leadership. It seems to me that they are and have been in direct opposition to us.
Kerry concedes and it is all over. We can not do this alone. There is not one party leader willing to fight.

3. cheswick. i know the frustration.
hold off a little, maybe we will all be surprised, there is still a little time.

If it just slides by again without a whimper I am with you.
The silence is deafening though. Just too damn quiet.

5. Yep; every single spineless dem incumbent should be thrown
out in 2006. They are almost as big of a problem as the repukes.
