Long lines in Ohio - does media ask/say why?
The difference in this election may well be the voters who have been discouraged by the many-hours-long waits in urban Ohio.

Obviously, a lot of people in that Kerry country haven't been able to vote.

So, what's causing these lines??? I haven't heard one word about WHY.

1. Not enough polling places, nor machines.
That's what the news has been saying.

3. And how did that happen???
People are being screwed out of their fundamental right to vote.

4. Traditionally....
people don't get off their fucking asses and go vote!

Even in heavy rain, people stood and waited their turn.

Can't say the same for people on this board who called Kerry a loser at 8PM tonight !!

where are they now?

6. Answer: the governor
He did not want to provide needed additional personnel and materiel to the areas where it was known that voter registration was much higher than in previous elections, because those happened to be districts that are largely minority.

You think the voters in the high-priced Northeast Shores area of Cleveland had to stand in line for hours to vote. Don't think so....

This was all so transparent. Whatever happened to the Voting Rights Act of 1965?

so sad
