EXCITING NEWS FROM OHIO DEMOCRATIC PARTY!!!! URGE KERRY TO RETRACT!!!!!!!!
Edited on Fri Nov-19-04 09:44 PM by yankeefanatic3
The Ohio Democratic Party is giving an email to URGE Kerry to retract his concession!!!! It's that vri@dnc.org email, however, remember when Cam Kerry said it should be referred to DNC???? According to The Ohio Democratic Party vri@dnc.org IS CAMERON KERRYS EMAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SPREAD THIS AROUND NOW!!!!! AND GIVE KERRY YOUR URGES TO WITHDRAW CONCESSION AT THAT EMAIL.

I do quote, from this website!

http://www.ohiodems.org/index.php?display=ReleaseDetails&id=197520

Vote Fraud or Mistakes – Information about fraud or mistake can be reported the Ohio Democratic Party.

You may also share any concerns about voter fraud or mistakes the Secretary of State by emailing: election@sos.state.oh.us
Contacting Kerry. If you would like to urge Kerry to withdraw his concession or share information about election fraud, Cameron Kerry, John’s brother is collecting comments. His email is: vri@dnc.org

Cam Kerry's email less than a week after the election stated the following.....

"If you have specific factual information about voting problems that could be helpful to the lawyers doing their job, please send it to vri@dnc.org rather than to me."

But Ohio Democratic Party is claiming it is his email!!!!! Get this on the main posts please, something BIG is going on!!!!!

1. No real news here. Lots of exclamation points over the
email address we already had for voting complaints, and the already known fact that it's Cam Kerry's. Ohiodems.com does say you can use that address to ask JK to unconcede or make other comment.

Don't go poking your heads up over the trenches quite yet. And I don't know if we should share our urges with JK.

2. Why would Cam say
That "rather to me" they should be directed to this email? That email is him....according to Ohio Dems 11/19...Why would they even be putting that email on their site...

8. Because the hoax letter that went out asking to
notify Cam Kerry had his law firms email address and he had to put a stop to that. So he gave us another address but just didn't say he was behind it.

12. Well see?
Now why would he cover something like that up...and Why would Kerry stress in his email that every vote will be counted "Regardless of the outcome of this election"

Perhaps I am being wayyyy too overly optimistic, but my heart is telling me not to give up and that something big is going on.

10. Simple
You can have more then one e-mail account. Each for differenct reasons. The one that was first used was his BUSINESS e-mail account. Kinda hard to do business when your being spammed with non-business related e-mails.

The other one looks like it's being hosted by the DNC. Which means they weill handle the "inflow."

Imagiane having a million e-mails. Think you would personaly read each one and REMEMBER? Nope. What will happen is that each one will be catagorized and most likelyl cataloged. Maybe redirected to persons/groups who need the information or handle the situation. In this case, asking to unconceded would require taking a tally of the requests. Don't ya think? Sending that to his personal e-mail addy or his business one would make it hard to handle his personal affairs, business.. AND make a tally.

35. The proposed "unconcession"
I think Kerry is right to play it cool, at least for now. Can you imagine the negative consequences for the Dems of Kerry unconceding only to find that the vote count in Ohio isn't going to change? We have to be open to the idea that the recount won't uncover significant and widespread fraud - or at least a level of fraud that would actually have changed the outcome of the election. I agree that there does seem to be a lot of fraud reports so far, but we just don't really know what a recount is going to "uncover." I pray for the best.

By the way, here's that link to the Zogby/Nader article again. It is an absolute MUST READ:

5. Read what I said! lol
Okay, I am going to be as blunt as I can, I don't know how else to explain this.....These are what the surprises are and why I'm so excited

1) Cam Kerry stated in an email a short while after the election that rather than sending the fraud emails to HIM....to send them to vri@dnc.org. Now, according to the Ohio Democratic Party, Cam Kerry can be REACHED AT.....Vri@dnc.org

2) Ohio Democratic Party is actually posting an email for people to recommend a concession withdrawal. That is rather big, considering what's been going on the past few weeks.

7. Let's Put This In Perspective Shall We?
This site is just detailing all the compiled events in Ohio so far. That's it. The email Cam thing is just in reference to that email that we've allllllll seen, and is nothing new. It is just an editorial comment of 'oh, and by the way, here's his brothers email address to report fraud, or to urge him to concede'. This is not a direct message from Cam, it is an editorial comment from the author of the page.

Still thought it was a pretty well done site though.

9. Again, that's not what I was saying....
If you read my msg again, I am saying that Cam Kerry originally said that these fraud complaints shouldn't be directed to him....But rather to the DNC's address. Now, he is affiliated WITH that address according to an 11/19 update by the Ohio Democrats. I guess I was not clear enough.

14. You are not listenting
That comment is not from Cam, it is from the author of the webpage. It is just a simple layman comment declaring hey, by the way, if ya want to voice a complaint Cam is having emails sent to this address blah blah blah.

This is nothing new and there is no context behind it.

I know you meant well and are anxious for your first news breaking post. Welcome to DU.

15. Sorry, but I don't think you are either! lol
With all due respect, I don't think you're listening. I *never* said that that message was from Cam...I am just saying that the message he sent said "Rather than sending them to me"...which assumes that he doesn't need or want the fraud emails...I have said for the past hour that it is the Ohio Democratic Party that is giving out this email saying that it belongs to Cam -- I *never* saw anything on any democratically-affiliated website with the DNC to give an email to ask Kerry to "Withdraw his concession." I'm sorry but that's very encouraging to me.

17. I understand what you are saying, and I noticed that distinction too, but
it could also be a mistake on the part of the Ohio head dem, or it might mean that he is tired of hearing people demanding that Kerry unconcede, so tell them instead. Just a thought.

28. also on there
6 counties used older form of electronic voting machines that has means of verifying the vote. That along with the punchcards leave hopefully a full paper trail for the recount( if they didn't misplace ballots). If those exit polls are right and we get a recount ....Kerry is gonna be President...Blackwell has I beleve until dec. 1 to certify, hopefully enough time.

32. But -
I keep reading in numerous places that the changes in numbers are still not enough to change anything (as far as an overturn). And the Hout report said that the Ohio results did not reflect any voting machine tampering. I have been unable to spend much time out here the last 2 days so it is possible I have missed something (lots). I want to be as excited as you guys so can someone please tell me what I am missing?

34. sounds like they will make sure of a recount
I don't think Kerry can do anything but work behind the scenes right now and have the lawyers do his talking. Once the recount shows him taking the lead (or fraud)is when he'll jump out. I don't think he has any other choice right now, by the way he's played the cards earlier.

42. same for FL and NH?
i don't think Nader would be in NH if he didn't have REAL good reason that he could prove there's a problem with the optic scanners.

the 'little' problem in FL sounds bigger than what can be quietly swept under the rug.

looking at the op/ed page in the one Ohio paper i saw today, they were feeling very confident that Bush won by a large enough margin that there is no chance of turning the state blue (hmmmm) and that usually means the opposite. No doubt Ohio had heavy fraud problems.

they need to make it bigger than the pions with the machines
and so far, that's been the biggest challenge.
those guys are accountable for nothing.

38. wouldn't Ohio Dem's be able to contact Kerry?
Seems to me, Ohio Dem's would have direct access to DNC, who surely know how to contact Kerry, a heck of a lot faster.

I've seen so many versions of that email, and address.

Democratic lawyers were in Ohio, looking over things. My guess is that the recounts need to be very low key (NH) and NOT directed at challenging the 'boys playing with toys' in Wash. D.C. because there's too many dirty tricks they could still pull.

Based on that, I don't think Dem lawyers would have made themselves known unless they did think there was a smoking gun they could challenge in court.

It might be a small thread of hope, but Kerry's record is 'investigations' and I don't think he'd be tipping his hand too soon, but work low key. Let the testostrone boys make their own blunders - they will. They are way too confident. It comes from believing their own spin.

39. Okay, I guess Blackwell isn't ALL bad.
Here's what Blackwell has to say about not green-lighting the Diebold machines for this election: "Diebold Election Systems has successfully addressed many, but not all, of the problems that were identified in our first security review. The lack of comprehensive resolution prevents me from giving county boards of elections a green light for this November."

So he isn't completely corrupt. I'm actually glad there are still punch-card ballots - they scare me less than the right-wing Orwellian Diebold machines.
