Blackwell says media would have reported any election
problems

".... federal judge in Ohio yesterday rejected the bid by Cobb and Badnarik to force the state to expedite its ongoing initial vote count. The pair had complained that the current schedule would not allow enough time for the state to conduct a recount before Ohio's electors gather Dec. 13 to cast their electoral votes for president -- rendering any recount largely meaningless. Cobb spokesman Blair Bobier called the court's decision "disappointing" and said the campaign is considering an appeal."

"A spokesman for Ohio Secretary of State J. Kenneth Blackwell dismissed the candidates' allegations. "We did not experience any significant irregularities," Carlo LoParo said. "Half of the world's media was in Ohio monitoring the election. I would think that if there were significant issues of election irregularities, you would have reported them the day after the election."

1. Can you post this link?
As a new member, I can't post new topics, but noticed a website which has a link to a Diebold/ES&S hosted cruise in which election officials are coached about how to deflect attention. BS. They were preparing for this from the get-go.

A highlight from the cruise:

4. are you sure?
A couple weeks ago, I recall Skinner saying he raised the level quite high because of all the new freepers that were invading.

Paligal, try to create a post, but if that is not available, you may want to check with Skinner as to the "new post" requirements.

5. From reading it I got this feeling
Kenneth Blackwell basically gave a challenge out to Keith at msn nbc. He also opened it up for the media to look into it. I might be wrong about that, but of course by saying that Ohio is the center of the world if any problems can be sent to the Keith along with this we can blast Blackwells own words back at him.

6. Big lie:No pesky reporters in Warren County...Terror Lockdown (LOL)
"Half of the world's media was in Ohio monitoring the election. I would think that if there were significant issues of election irregularities, you would have reported them the day after the election."

Bulls*it Blackwell.

Methinks those GOPers (and a couple of DINO-slugs) in Warren County, Ohio pulled off the fix of the millennium.

7. Please contact Cobb and Badnarik and ask them to appeal
Edited on Wed Nov-24-04 07:34 AM by Duncan
I would think that the irregularities would have been reported too, BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN SH*T. There actually were thousands of irregularities reported, just not covered by the MSM. Someone please post contact info for Cobb and Badnarik in this thread. I am at work... no time... must go. I'm contacting them and WaHoPo and telling them what I think after work.

Kerry should be helping them with some of that "challenge" money I donated to him.

Keep fighting please, and if you arn't, please start.

10. And now TX Republican outraged at voting irregularities
And now we get losing Republican candidates itching for a recount. When it's convenient, voting irregularities are an outrage. Otherwise, what's the big deal.

Heflin wants House seat back or a new election

State Rep. Talmadge Heflin will ask the state House of Representatives today to overturn the results of his failed re-election bid and either order him returned to the Legislature or call for a new election.

Heflin's attorney, Andy Taylor, said the election results in state House District 149 in southwest Harris County were fraught with voting irregularities and potential fraud, most of which occurred in predominantly Democ
ratic precincts.

12. In essence, Blackwell is saying that the media was part of a
concerted effort to defraud the public. What's more, he's now opened the door to revealing the lock-down.
