What is this CyberNet and why is it mentioned in 2004 election results
and discussion forum? Plese explain it simplisticly. I have no idea at all what it is or why it keeps popping up, and the posts that I read are too long or too obscure, or a combination of both, that I can't read enough of them to understand WTF if anything is pertinent to the inclusion of this Cybernet crapola being in this forum.

1. Here's their website
I don't know what the deal is with Cybernet, either, but a cursory look at their homepage and it's easy to see how they might be wrapped up in evoting monkey business. Into computers AND defense.

3. OK, I think I found the link in a DU thread that explains it.

---------------------------------------------------------------
<snip>

I was at first looking at PMing this for private use, but I think its time the public see this.
Interestingly enough, Dr. Piotr Blass is not only significant and real, he has alot of resume background in Michigan state, and otherwise, is connected to a very interesting corporation known as CyberNET Venturs Inc.(which manages all of Cybernets divisions...)
In the allegations report, a certain vendor described that such a network company was financing the operation through Mel Sembler and a few other bad eggs connected to the head of the game map. Another company was described as giving source to certain code.....Turns out CyberN is indeed an open source code distributor to several organizations, ultimately not even limited to voting companies. (bold type added)<http://engrm.com/personnel/gutierrez-alan/experiential.... >
------------------------------------------------------------------

ALSO:

Cybernet was recently busted for fraud involving either adult web sites or keeping money for goods/services never delivered. (Maybe both... as you say, it's hard to follow this story.)
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.ph...

The CEO and founder of this company was a felon and just killed himself apparently. http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=102&topic_id=1018969

Now why would a CEO involved with evoting kill himself out of the blue? Is it the fraud charges, or did he know that worse fraud charges were coming down the pike? That's the question.

The scuttlebutt seems to be that CyberNet is tied in with Jeff Fisher's allegations. Fisher is the Dem. who lost a seat in the House in Florida and then went to the FBI saying he had proof of voting fraud in Florida. http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=203x27340

Does that clear it up at all? It's the best I could piece together at 3AM! :)

4. Of course, half of what was just posted is not true, but who cares!
CyberNET Group ain't Cybernet Ventures, therefore they ain't into adult web sites. They ain't Cybernet Systems either, therefore they ain't into Florida, and a possible connection with Accenture and maybe Jeb Bush.

But it's fun getting all confused over what is real and what is fiction, and perhaps it's even more fun confusing others, so why complain!?!?

5. In the first place, I never said it was true.
I was merely trying to reconstruct the storyline.

Secondly, who knew there were multiple companies called CyberNet? Doesn't that interfere with intellectual property and piss off people who are trying to find your company on line?

Third--lighten up! The woman asked a legitimate question and I was trying to be helpful. You, on the other hand, are living up to your screen name spectacularly.

7. That was VERY light!
You first posted about Cybernet Ventures: "CyberNET Venturs Inc.(which manages all of Cybernets divisions...)

This statement was false - they are a separate company, they do not manage all of Cybernets, yada yada yada. You also spelled it with a capital "N" which is misleading - making it look more like CyberNET Group.

Then, you provided a link that doesn't work.

Then, you switched and started talking about Cybernet Ventures, as if they were the same - "Cybernet was recently busted for fraud involving either adult web sites or keeping money for goods/services never delivered. (Maybe both... as you say, it's hard to follow this story.)"

Then, you switched and said something about CyberNET Group - "The CEO and founder of this company was a felon and just killed himself apparently. "

and it went on and on...

I'm sure the woman thought you were extremely helpful.

10. Thanks so much at the attempt at clarification, but the waters are still
muddy for me! I really appreciate your time. If I can make definitive sense of all of this, I'll post it later with my observations.

2. Well, here is my take
Hi shelley806,

My take is this: there could be some connection or there could not be. The problem is there is some mutation of the Jeff Fisher comments that somehow ties Baypoint School to Cybernet, and some BayPoint person to a University in Michigan, or something like that. There have been several threads at DU, BBV, etc.

In all cases the cybernet theory has been advanced it has been advanced by people who post very oncoherently, with tons of information and links for you to follow, and any attempt at gaining clarification (or any attempt to say that what they've posted makes no sense) illicits either an angered response, more non-sensical data, or accusations of being a liar.

This pattern, with the same logical and rhetorical progression has sucked many a legitimate forum writer into its depths.

Like I said, there may be something there or maybe not, but the manner in which these particular few have handled themselves and their discussions leaves me to believes that either they are so slow they could be a hazard to themselves or they are maliciously sending others in circles. Either situation is not ideal.

Here are links to the most recent "serious" thread, and I apologize in advance but you will see my posts scattered all throughout, then a link to our little satire thread, and next a link to the BBV thread, centered on a post that kind of sums it up.

Hope that helps. :)

9. Thanks so much...but at least it appears that I'm not the only one
who has been and remains confused by all of this. I read several threads on Fischer, and was left with the impression that either he was mad or telling the truth, albeit cryptically. Something about the prisoners(?) in youth detention centers who were trained to rigg the election, and links about the doctor and his son, and Katherine Harris's attorney and Sembler. That was a few weeks ago, and I've not followed it or the CyberNet links since. Still really confused, but these posts help validate my confusion I guess! Thnaks again.

15. Neil Bush and brother Marvin
also got money from Saudis for software company now owned by Neil, but connected to CyberNet and bro Jeb's Fla school system, if I'm reading the many articles correctly.

16. Please post your links
If you are claiming that CyberNET Group is directly linked to Jeb Bush, please post the links.

Of course, you can't, because there is no link.

If you are claiming that Cybernet Ventures is linked to Jeb Bush, please post your links.

Of course, this has nothing to do with CyberNET Group.

So what is your point?

Hmmm...that's a tough one...

17. I recall that you had a huge thread about the religious leaders and
organizations behind B* prior to the (s)election. Many criticized you for long threads with links to God knows what, and they went on and on and on...nothing conclusive in that 'wild goose chase' of yours. Was there an end to it? I doubt it. So why the criticism of another set of threads that seem on the surface to be just as conspiratorial as your previous ones?

How would you sum up this CyberNet, Fischer et al crapola? With mere words of condemnation, or attempts at clarity?

21. Sorry, Bozo...I have read two of the links you posted, and yes I do recall
criticism of them. Originally the posts were criticized for being too long and too disorganized. And then you were critticized for demanding people to get to work on them and do research! I don't want to re-read those links thanks very much.
