TAKE TO THE STREETS

I am assisting in organizing a huge Rally in Columbus Ohio on
Saturday December 4 from 1-3pm named "FIGHT FOR DEMOCRACY
RALLY"  at the Ohio Statehouse. Citizens' Alliance for
Secure Elections (CASEOhio.org) is hosting it.  They are one
of the three groups  who will be CONTESTING the election in
Ohio. We need thousands of People to attend to draw attention
to the many  voter issues that has been documented by
CASEOhio.org; Free Press.org and Commoncause.  1 in 18 votes
did not count in 2000.  We can NOT allow voters to be
disenfranchised again.  PLEASE, we need huge numbers for this
event to bring this into the public's eye.  We have sent out
requests for speakers-we learned from the past campaign that
they really bring out the numbers.  If any of you can be of
help, either by getting the word out or helping arrange a
guest speaker (we would really love to get John Lewis, among
others), we would really appreciate it.  OHIO DID NOT HAVE
EQUAL TREATMENT UNDER THE LAW! Im a 1st time blogger so please
excuse any faux pas.

-local liberal newspapers
-college campuses
-dem 527s (i.e., MoveOn, ACT, RockTheVote -- assuming some of these are still quasi-active, but they would have huge email lists)
-send flyer to: www.michaelmoore.com, www.buzzflash.com, www.bandelier.net, www.democrats.com, and other blog sites (local blog sites in OH too)

I am working as a volunteer with CASEOhio, organizing this Rally on Sat and we really wanted to get the word out and since nobody else volunteered I thought I would give it a try (at POSTING). Please feel freeto make suggestions to me as to the best way to get this information out! I read a posting (out of many) that really hit home.

"Ukrainians are marching to demand correction of a fradulent election, in America we're shopping".

If we all demand equal treatment under the law, and we all put away our credit cards, step away from our computers and get out on the streets we can DEMAND a full investigation of this election. We need numbers, like the Ukrainians. We need ten even hundreds of thousands of people to DEMAND a correction.

57. I've never chartered a bus before, but I just did a google search and

sent in for a quote. I posted the rally on a local Nov3 yahoo thread. If I can get 45 people to sign on, we'll divide the cost. I think I can find a few sponsors to help bring the cost down. I imagine plenty of people would like to go but can't, so they would be happy to pass the hat in order to participate.
It's an 8 hour trip from Madison to Ohio, so we'll leave at 5 a.m., get there at 1. Leave at 4p.m. get home at midnight.

If you guys come to Columbus on Sat 12/4 , we will not disapoint you. we all worked too hard on the electtion to just sit back. WE WILL NEVER GET OUT THE VOTE AGAIN, UNLESS WE DEMAND EVERY VOTE MUST COUNT! There are really dems out there that have "moved on". 1 in 18 votes did not count in 2000 (MIT and CalTech study.) THIS IS NOT ACCETABLE! I'm going to check with my local political groups to see if anyone has a bus going or wants to get one. (not sure if there is time) Since you are in Philly, I might suggest talking to groups like the Kensignton Welfare Rights Union-
